redxxrdr Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 My first ride since New Years Day. I put on my mesh gear, black pants, and Bright red mesh jacket. I figured I would see if that old bike was still in front of that bar. 10:00, clear skys, and after about 50miles my FI light starts to flicker. Not just on and off, but bright and dim. Never had problems before, but this concerns me. I finally had enough and turned west to go home. The light goes out instantly. I ride about 15 miles, with no problems , so I decide to head east again and find that bike. Now the light comes on again. WTF? Finally the light came on in my pea brain. I stick my hand over the glare screen and the light goes out. That Damn bright red jacket is reflecting straight into the lamp, making it look like it was on. :icon_wall: Bet that was the easiest fix for a FI light failure ever. :icon_duh: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
