Extended swingarms or extension?

You're gonna have to look to google for any info on those. Most folks here will argue it's necessity on our bikes. There are some seriously fast bikes here that don't need it so unless you're putting down monster horsepower, a little suspension work like dropping the nose a little will keep you pretty planted on launch.

You DO mean for drags right? God knows they don't handle.

Yes for drags, I googled and found a few companies but nobody has yet to call me back. Thanks for the info.

Have you had your bike to the track yet with the stock swingarm? Have you lowered the bike yet ? Gearing changes ? Big time motor work? What's holding you back with the stock swingarm? I'm looking forward to some high 1.60 short times when I get back to the track, and that's with a stock swingarm, and only 1 down on the front sprocket and on a pilot Road tire. Nothing fancy or extreme. With the front end strapped and +2 up on the rear sprocket I have gone 1.74.

Try to find and ride a blackbird with an extended swingarm before you buy & install one. I have four birds, one a turbo with an extended swingarm. Unless your turbo charged and intend to just ride the straight roads or drag race it, you will not like the bike when your done.
