nickc2s
The Speedohealer started reading 0 while riding and then reading correctly. Speedohealer was quick to respond and confident of a cure, mostly a loose or dirty connection. When I opened the rubber bellhousing that the connections were in, there was oil inside, clean but covering both connections. It isn't dirty greasy like chain fling off but motor oil. Where did the oil come from? Is there a crancase vent on the back of the engine? There is no oil resting on top of the gearbox housing. Anyone else run into something like this? It is an '03 BTW
The Krypt Keeper
might have been electrical grease on the connections to prevent corrosion.. It might have gotten alittle warm from the heat coming off the engine gave it a oily state when you pulled the connector apart.. This is the only thing I can think off.. :icon_think:
