Is there some of you that uses that and what are your impressions on it. arcticflipper Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 We've got a local company in South Africa that sells these, and they seem to be just as good, or slightly weaker than the PC units. I don't think there is much of a price diff between a new TFI unit and a PC unit. I don't personally have either, so I con't give too much info, only hearsay. A couple of SP1's run on these units, and they seem to be pushing the same HP and track times as the ones running the PC units. Haven't heard anyone complaining about either of them. Arioch5 Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 My VFR had one of those on it. It helped clear up some rough idle and wasn't hard to adjust. However, I never picked one up for the bird b/c it's so smooth anyway. If you are wanting it for performance IMO something that is programed with a computer would be a LOT more accurate. I've never used the PC devices before but my limited Techlusion experience is that it's just a few rough adjustments and I wouldn't use it to go beyond smoothing out small fuel issues.
