Moriartii
Hey I am wanting to continue with the all black theme on my bird. I want to black out the fairing bolts, instead of buying the kits that are out there does anyone have a fairly inexpensive suggestion. Say gun blueing? Thanks Kinley

matey_peeps
Whatever works man. I also dunno if gun blue would work because they're plated. Of course I could be talking directly out of my ass here.

Redbird
I had mine blacked out for awhile. Punched them all through a piece of cardboard and broke out the Krylon. Held up for a year or two before they started looking a little ragged and I stripped them.
Warchild
You could try taping up the threads and powder-coating the heads black....
Red J
You could try taping up the threads and powder-coating the heads black.... Silicone condoms. They make 'em, and any decent powdercoater should have tons of them. Still, good luck using hex keys with powder in the socket head.

Never, I thought, could you go back... J.
