JB4XX
Was just out changing my plugs. Got to the last one, the one to the far right looking from the back of the bike. Was trying to pop the plug wire off and heard a little snap. Looked down and looks like I broke the choke cable. Didnt really look at it before starting but it doesnt look right. Going to check RonAyers, do any of you have one handy? Joe? Mike? Bueller? 99Birdman
Ain't it snowing there anyway? That's probably why he needs a choke. Don't you use that when it's cold out?
02XXCA
Sell it and get an 02, I think it's been said before Silver is faster anyways
TechnoGecko
Did the same thing when rejetting the bike. Some superglue and a tiny dab of plastic epoxy works really well as a fix. But alas, I was anal and ordered a new cable...
JB4XX
The new cable will be here Friday. Thanks for all the help... :greenfingers:
Pete in PA
Mine broke there also just like that a long time ago. Due to me removing it from the bracket incorrectly. I just use a zip tie to hold it to the bracket works great. So how much $$ did I save? Use a small screw driver under the metal barrel to snap it out of the bracket. I pulled on that plastic end and broke it off just like your pics.
Involute
Whats your problem? The Cable looks fine to me. I think that 2 piece plactic part should actually be one piece though.

ALL WINTER? You're in Southern Indiana, not Southern Florida. You getting studs for the tires?
