XXLust
Last Saturday I installed a Laminar Touring Lip, heavier bar ends, a NEP throttle lock and new grips. I was looking at the Throttlemeister lock but heard it was not as easy as the thumb locks to engage, besides being a bit pricey. I found these bar ends from HVMP (www.hvmp.com). They are considerably larger than stock (and they make heavier ones) and are very nicely machined. So the NEP throttle lock, HVMP bar ends and new grips was less $ than the Throttlemeister. I was looking for more wind protection since I have VFR bars on top of GenMars and didn't want to replace the shield. This Laminar Touring Lip works great!! Below ~60mph I have almost no wind on my helmet. At my normal freeway speeds (75 - 80) there is considerably less pressure on my helmet and I can look around with straining my neck. I still get some air coming around the sides of the Lip and hitting me at my shoulders. I am very pleased!!
