tgo63
Is it possible to remove chain slider with chain on the front sprocket and swing arm in place? I would like to remove it and clean it but I do not think it is posible without removing swing arm.
Moriartii
Absolutely it can be removed. Swing arm staysin place and the sprocket cover does not even need to come off. Just undo the screws and slide it out. It worked on my 97. Kinley

tgo63
cleaning the bike drives me nuts. I ride it daily, when not crushing, and keeping it clean it's a chore. When I look at some of the bikes here on the forum I cannot believe how clean some of them are. But then I don't think there are many with 20k+ annual mileage. I do not have clean bike syndrome but too much dirt gets to me on occasions.
