Tripple X Double X'er
Ok I'm no mechanic... but I got up the courage to try cleaning out the carbs and jets on my bike. Most of my problems went away. The bike starts without hesitation and idles with no problem. The problem I'm having now is that there is a slight hesitation around 4 or 5,000 rpm. I don't want to do the carbs over, but if I have to I will. Any suggestions as to what my problem might be?

Guest rockmeupto125
How slight? The carbed versions don't really hesitate as a norm, but they do have a flat spot in the torque curve that is nearer to 5500-6000 rpm. If you were running rich in the first place, that condition may not have been obvious at the time, but now is.
