Pete in PA
I just put on the Johar foam grips. BIG improvement. They also fill the hand more, are softer, and taper from the middle to the edges. I've been tackleing the problem at the bars, trying to raise them more. The problem was my grips which were Progrip and soft but nothing like these. Best $6 I've ever spent. BTW I use brake cleaner to install and remove grips. I was worried that it wouldn't work for foam grips but no problem. Just wet them and quickly slide them on. Dries almost instantly and doesn't move.

birdie_xx
When/if you get "tired" of the foam grips, you may want to try these rubber grips.... http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/prod...t_id~768036.asp I've heard they are very comfortable ..... Cheers,
RichardCranium
I had foam grips on my bike when I first got it. They were ok but with some gloves they were VERY slick. Switching to some nice rubber gel grips was definitely an improvement.

chaserkeywest
Might sound nuts but, I buy bicycle handlebar foam tape. With a piece of duct tape stick on grip, wrap to desired thickness and shape super gluing as I go, glue down end . I have used this method to get firm foam palm swell in the thickness Iwant on several bikes. Holds up well, I found foam grips too soft.
