DBLXXTC
I was THINKING about doing the whole shock upgrade thing (ohlins, wilber etc.). I was wondering if it is neccessary to perform the front spring upgrade as well to really notice a difference in the handling? What would I notice by just doing the rear instead of the front, or the front instead of the rear etc.? TIA
Redbird
My vote- start with front springs. Dollar for dollar it's the best money spent on the XX supsension. Replace the front springs, set your sag front and rear, then decide what you want to do next.

Keith
Springs and valving first I understand replacing springs, but what do you mean by "valving"? Do you mean adding Race Tech vales or something done to the stock fork?
K9XX
yup. You can either throw the Gold Valves in or drill your stockers.

xfuctx
yup. You can either throw the Gold Valves in or drill your stockers. I've heard about this before i'm shure. So, what's the procedure for the stock drilling method? Anyone done this or got the link to the post about it?
