stewmg Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 Well I did it, thanks to a lot of info posted here. I installed a set of 03 VFR bars on my 00 bird. left them up about a half inch above the top of the fork tubes. Went smooth as silk. Also installed a new irridecent double bubble screen, which gives the titanium bird just a little bling. The combination of the higher bars and the double bubble is great. The screen blocks wind around the helmet and at the same time allows wind in to the shoulders and provides great body lift off the bars. Thanks again for all the great advise in previous posts. rgillies Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 I just did it within the last week also on my 02 bird. I agree, they are awsome and provide a huge difference. Besides cutting of the tabs on the brake and clutch lines it was fairly easy and I have no issues with the hoses or anything.
