Dion
Once I get my new ABM rotors (Thank you Dale) I'll need to replace the rotor bolts. Anyone have any thoughts, opinions or experience with other than OEM bolts? Sources?
Northman
Why would you replace them? Just put a small dab of loctite on the old bolts, and re-install.
Dion
Locktite aside, I was under the impression these were a stressed fastener. Plus the fact that I'm going with gold fittings on the new lines I wanted to see if anybody knew of any bling options
Redbird
Nothing says bling like titanium- http://www.yoyodyneti.com/SearchResult.asp...?CategoryID=191 You'll want to stay away from anodized aluminum, if that's where you're headed. That said, I'm with Chris. The rotor bolts come with a bit of loc-tite already applied when you order OEM, my impression was this was the main reason they call for replacement. Mine where out and back in 30,000 miles ago, with no ill effects.
Warchild
I went with TastyNuts.com when I blinged up my Deer-Strike FJR... Gold-anodized Titanium carrier bolts and caliper bolts: Mind you, these Grade 5 Titanium bolts (12 carrier bolts, 4 caliper bolts) are some spendy shit.... ~$140 retail.... :???:
Dion
Yep, that's the ticket! It looks like I have to join the UK forum cause Pro-Bolt gives them a 10% discount
