Steve
Only if there were none to begin with OR the wrong ones.. .the stock plugs are fine and deliver the best overall performance.
The Krypt Keeper
I replaced mine at 8,900 miles. Don't know why or for whatever reason but they looked rough. I had what looked like normal looking ends, not wet or fouled out looking. But the little irridium electode part was pretty worn compared to the new NGK's I had gotten. only costed me $32 for the 4 so not too bad
Steve
I did mine yesterday. The bike has 14056 miles and they looked like new with no noticeable wear on the electrode or discoloration. Mine is also an '01 so you already SHOULD have the better plugs. The interval is said to be 16K
AZITPRO
What is the correct part number for the Iridium plugs for an 03?
TechnoGecko
I replaced mine at 18k when I got the bike - they looked like new when I removed them but since I was jett'ing the carbs it was easiest just to replace the plugs then rather than do it later.
