bartonmd
Travis, Long wheelies... I don't know about the FI light coming on from it, but from what I get, you may be experiencing oil starvation... unless the XX has a pickup at the rear of the case to make up for that. Titbird
unless the XX has a pickup at the rear of the case to make up for that I always wondered about that....it's a scary thought... I just keep asuring myself that Honda would have thought of that... I mean...how much different could a wheelie be than HARD 1st/2nd gear acceleration with respects to "where the oil goes" in the pan.... - Tit
devilisht2003
i think ducati is the only one with rear oil pick up not sure though
Northman
I mean...how much different could a wheelie be than HARD 1st/2nd gear acceleration with respects to "where the oil goes" in the pan.... The pan baffles make up for the short term stuff, but 30 second long stand ups may starve the engine for oil. Keep an eye on your gauges, and if you see the oil pressure light flicker, set it down, and quit doing them! Nobody that I know of has reported any issues, however. As for the FI light, there is no reason for it to come on just because you're on the back tire. Check the codes, and let us know what you're coming up with.
