[ C+ ] Honda Direct Line

The prices were very good, the shipping was free, my credit card was not charged until shipping took plac but... their delivery intervals SUCK!!!

On August 24, 2004 I placed an order with Honda Direct Line for the following parts:

17205-MN5-003 - ELEMENT, AIR CLEANER....$24.39 x 1 = $24.39

16900-MG8-003 - STRAINER, FUEL....$10.15 x 1 = $10.15

98069-57916 - S/PLG (DPR7EA-9)....$1.55 x 6 = $9.30

On September 8, 2004, I received these parts for my XX:

On September 9, 2004, I received this part for my XX:

17205-MN5-003 - ELEMENT, AIR CLEANER....$24.39 x 1 = $24.39

16900-MG8-003 - STRAINER, FUEL....$10.15 x 1 = $10.15

98069-57916 - S/PLG (DPR7EA-9)....$1.55 x 6 = $9.30

Receiving six NGK sparkplugs on September 17th that were ordered on August 24th, will never be mistaken for an example of prompt delivery.

Agree with above, but add to the shipping problems a serious lack of communication.

I ordered about $220 worth of parts from them twelve days ago. Thanksgiving was in there, so give them a break, right? Wrong. I call today to check the status of the order, figuring maybe it went out this week. Nope, everything I ordered is on backorder. Will ship in "a week, maybe two".

So I would have been looking at close to a month between ordering and receiving my parts, with not so much as an email. Screw that, cancelled my order.

They were the cheapest, though, if you're not in a hurry.
