RodeRash
They are just getting started on our new house. Hope to be moved in before Christmas. It's going to be a ranch style with a finished basement. (everything finished but the mechanical room and some storage space) Nine foot ceilings in the basement. Should be a little over 4100 sq. ft. finished. Three car garage, but two of the bays are double deep, so there is plenty of room for the vehicles, bikes, and a work area. Here are a few pics. The lot. Hole in the ground. Another view of the hole in the ground.

RodeRash
The front windows will aim directly at that view. Should be great till they build houses across the street. :banghead: In any case, I'd much rather be out riding in the mountains than staring out the window at them. N1K
So how old is the girl on the left in the white pants???
RodeRash
The girl on the left is my wife. She wouldn't like it if I gave out her age, but she was born in 1961. That's her mom on the right.

RichardCranium
Cool. I'm ready to see the finished product. Not nearly as ready as you are though I'm sure.
RodeRash
Here's a couple interior shots from a similar house. Great room area. We will have wood floors rather than tile. This is a shot of the kitchen area. We are replacing the stove with a gas cooktop, and will add double ovens. The upgrades are killin' me, but I hope this the last time I ever move. azxr
The upgrades are killin' me, but I hope this the last time I ever move. That is the part that killed me also, but it is worth it in the long run.

N1K
Nice Pad... Maybe its just the camera angle, but that garage looks HUGE. Cool!
tvking
Maybe its just the camera angle, but that garage looks HUGE. Cool! When it comes to garages, bigger is better. Looks nice.
RodeRash
It's not the camera angle. Two of the bays are 46 feet deep. Two things you'll never hear... 1. I wish I had built a smaller garage. 2. I should have bought a smaller air compressor
N1K
Two of the bays are 46 feet deep. Are those 8 ft doors too? Damn... 46 feet deep... I could put my boat in the garage with my truck still attached and have an inch or two to spare!
RodeRash
The doors are 7 feet tall. My original plan, was to have only one bay double deep. But, in order to fit the house on the lot, they had to narrow the garage two feet. The 18 foot door was replaced with a 16. So, I negotiated moving the end bay all the way back. I think the builder came out ahead on the deal, because moving the wall back removed two corners from the outside..
