I just bought a 1997 CBR1100 and wondering what upgrades are recommended. I like the look of the stock mufflers, but I would like the bike to be louder. Also, I noticed that there is a flat spot when shifting to second from about 4000 to 6000 rpm. After that it flies. Is this normal? Would a new exhaust with dyno jet kit fix this. I have heard that because this is a carbed model, I should expect it. Sorry about so many questions. I just got the bike about two weeks ago and have not had a chance to ride it much here in Michigan.
