Is there a special tool to shorten a chain and how do I attach the "master link"?
SOB is so stretched out its past the "new chain" slot. 29,000 miles.
What tinsle strenght chain do you use?
DID chains shows ~9800 lbs for up to 900 cc bikes.
No one stocks the 13,000lbs (1100 cc) type here. Ayers Eh?

Northern Tools has them listed in their catalogs.
Web site: Then Automotive and then Trucks and assessories.

I just typed in "ramps" in their search/keyword field.
Item# 330306 is one ramp @$99 750 lbs.
Just for comparison.

I'll add a quality fuel cleaner to the tank and post the results later. Thanks for the info!
Assuming several tank fulls (3-4) per treatment bottle.

Just did a minor tune up: Oil/filter air filter and my buddy said the carbs may benefit from some cleaning.
Is there something to spray, add to fuel or to I take the stacks down / off and soak them in a solution like he suggested?

Is there a reason why we cann't upload from our PC?
-Suf Daddy TIA
By the way, why can't we just upload avatar images from our computers? I'm on another board site that enables this as long as the images are not larger than xx size.

Right on, even after I sent $30 for a paperback.

I changed the air filter today.
There are four outlets and three hoses to the fuel cut off switch under the gas tank.
1997 CBR1100xx carb.
There is a black line which looks like it goes to the back of the block from the fuel switch.
does it go to the straight out line?
Or the 90 degree nipple at the bottom of the switch.
The other two are fat fuel lines in and out to the carbs.
I wish I could post a photo here. I have one if you need it. Its 640x480 not 6 gazillion mega pixels.
This link to a URL sucks.
