  1. I took the picture from the http://www.superblackbird.info/ You'd have to check there...The bike was at the '03 Danmark XX meeting . Here is another shot.... Cheers,
  2. Jeff, are those the ones you have on your ST ? Dave, they are a bit....to big ! Thanks guys.... Cheers,
  3. Do you think this is a good set up ? I wonder how well do they work ? Up by the mirrors is probably the best, but is this better than the fork mounted ? BTW, this may be a less expensive alternative to the Motolights.... http://www.sporttouringusa.com/www/ST1300.htm Cheers,
  4. Great ! Here we go ! Now we are gona hear from Dave..... - how good the beam adjustment is.... - how good the shaft is.... - how good the multiposition seat is... - how good those integrated bags are... - how good the mileage and the range from that tank are.... - how awesome the electric shield is ... - how good the weather protection is.... - how comfortable the bike is... Jeeze man, give it a rest ! :poke:  Cheers,
  5. And I bought mine here....  http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12586 Cheers,
  6. I just bought the chain from them. Very good service from Roger. Quick shippment and an awesome price. The gold DID chain, ZVM530 110 links and rivet master link.... $108.90 plus $7.00 for shipping ... The part number is 45 33110. Highly recommended ! Thanks G2 ! Cheers,
  7. I have the restrictors in my B.O.S slip-ons....... I agree with demon, I think that's what SR meant, when they said removable baffle. But for my and my neighbors sake, I keep them installed... Scorpion pipes have stainless steel beffle - no need to repack !
  8. Here, this may make you feel better ...  http://www.zzr1200.net/modules.php?name=Fo...iewtopic&t=7494 Cheers, P.S. .....and then I notticed Joe's post..... Do you have to be everywhere ?!  ....
  9. LEVERAGE !.....The top box sits higher and more back. What often amazes me are the OVERLOADED cruisers ! Maybe because their front are more extended than the sport and sport-touring bikes, they don't feel the weight shift that much, or the bikes handle so bad everyday, that the overload is not noticable..... Cheers,
  10. Here is what I experience. IF the bags are loaded up, I get serious headshake on decelaration and it happens from around 40MPH down.... If the load is lighter, the shake is not that obvious. Try to shift your body weight forward and see if that changes anything ... Again, to me that happens on decelaration. If I lock the throttle, I can ride with no shakes, bags or not. As Joe mentionned, the worn out tires have their own imput. But also some thread pattern create the shake more than the other, with the weight distribution change. When you add the lugage to the bike, you obviously move the weight back. Some tires are more sensitive and some less. The Pilot Road are reacting less to the weight, than the BT010 did. As I said , my bike has to be loaded up to shake when slowing down, but I usually don't let go the handlebar, so it's not an issue. When on power, I can take the hands off and the bike is like on rails. Cheers,
  11. Louie, I tried to buy something from you, AGAIN..... But again, my e-mail was left without an answer for couple of days, and you lost another sale. And I lost another parts source.... Cheers,
  12. Pete, what info did they need from you ?! Maybe I should try to contact them.... Cheers,
  13. I wouldn't go for the one that Joe made, but the anodised black, hmm if it works - why not ! Warchild, how about you take your's off and send it around the country, like the Pressious, and we (who's interested) give it a try, huh ?! :poke: :fingerflip: Cheers, P.S. Joe. don't send yours, please !
  14. To bad I've heard negative about the Silver Star.... Otherwise I'd have tried them. They were $4 more per bulb....... I'm going to see how long the New bulb will last and then will try the Vission Plus. Thanks all ,
  15. Hey apolloxx, I think I'm getting old ! I even replied in that thread !  Cheers,
  16. The board was slow the other day, so I wonderd to the ZZR board.... I found the topic on the Superbrace. Few guys were raving how much it improved handling.... http://www.superbrace.com/ Does anyone here use the Superbrace on the XX ? I remember it was an add-on to have on the ST1100 ! I wonder if it works well on the XX.... Cheers,
  17. I thought it was a good bulb.... Well, my high beam only lasted a little over 3 months and about 9K..... I bought the replacement yesterday and then I remembered, that the Sylvania H4 on my ST1100 lasted only couple of months as well..... :banghead: I wonder when I will have to change them again. My stock "yellowish" bulbs are still good ! Has anyone been using the Vision Plus for a while ? http://www.ambulbs.com/products/description.php/II=22 What's the life expectancy from the HID's ???? Cheers,
  18. So what you're saying is IT LOOKS GOOD ?! :poke: It's not nikel plated chain, is it ?!  Or is it BLUE ??? Cheers,
  19. Nope. Why does it matter ? If they have decent prices and service, who cares ? I saw it and thought it may be usefull....more options where to shop. I didn't say go and shop only there........
  20. If you have to buy the new one, the R/R from the '01-'03 is better and cheaper, but you'd have to play with the plug... And you can try the '99-'01 R1 R/R which is even cheaper than the Honda... From Ron Ayers: XX '97-'98 Part Number: 31600-MY7-305 Description: SET,REGULATOR Price: $156.67 '99-'00 Part Number: 31600-MAT-E01 Description: RECTIFIER, REGULATOR Price: $107.49 '01-'03 Part Number: 31600-MAT-D51 Description: RECTIFIER, REGULATOR Price: $96.74 And here is the one from the '99-'01 Yamaha R1 Part Number: 4JH-81960-01-00 Description: RECTIFIER & REGULATO Price: $56.61 Good luck,
  21. ...recommended by Motorcyclist.... http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/offers.h...otorcycle+Parts Cheers,
  22. BTW, when you look at the drawings like the one above, anytime there is a "box" with the part number and another part numbers inside, that means you can buy it as the set or individuall parts.... Look at the wheel, you can buy it complete or just the components..... The only thing sometimes is, you can't buy the main part by itself - like the rim in this case.... Cheers,
  23. http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/200_0351/rea.../rear_wheel.cfm #2 Part Number: 41241-MAT-000 Description: DAMPER, RR. WHEEL Price: $10.08 #25 Part Number: 06410-MAT-E00 Description: DAMPER SET, WHEEL Price: $32.24 Cheers,
  24. I have 10GB Creative Labs MP3 (thanks Jerry ! ) - older model than Tim's.....It's plugged in to the Autocom (together with the cell phone and FRS/CB for bike to bike...) Beside eatting the batteries to fast and being on the quiet side (even on the headphones - off the bike !) I like this MP3 player. And the Autocom rocks ! Cheers,
