Runs Major hot always m8 - keeps ya warm in the winter . Mine runs mega hot in traffic but never had any problems , guess when u buy a bird u gotta deal with that and a loud clutch to boot Ps , i run a 99 ij as well, Only prob i had was the Rectifier - a comon prob with that year apparently

Thanks for the replies guys , gonna fit tommorow . One more thing , i am correct in saying that the only way it straps to the bike is at the head and at the tail with the supplied large oval clip ?

yip got new ones, anything else ? Dont have to feck around with the injectors ? ( lol not me a shop ! ) By the way what the hell is the plug on the chain on the 2-1 piece ?

Hi guys , Gonna be fitting a Akrapovic Street Legal 4-2-1 system ( carbon end ) to my 99' Bird within next few days. Anything ive GOT to change or will it be ok to strap onto a vanilla Blackbird. I know the centrestands gotta come off - no probs there . Any Do's and Dont's would be appreciated , Cheers in advance

Hey guys , new to the forum which feels quite strange coz ive had a blackbird for 7 years and computers for a hell of a lot longer ! Anyhooooo ive finally got round to messing with a few bits on the bird and am looking for a decent screen/fairing black bolt set ( if possible the originals in black ) . Spoke to John at Jaws earlier and truthfully he told me the ones he's got are crap ! Any ideas ?
