  1. Bump, So when is the Group Buy goin take place and how ??
  2. $185 total, includes shipping from Europe. This price is for USA and Aussie sales. Normal retail is around $230, so we're getting a pretty killer deal. Especially for what you get... believe me. Would it be possible to buy them in England when I am there next month and bring them back with me to save even more on customs and shipping ?
  3. OK I am ready now Hit me with the cost ?
  4. I have the Vista Cruises in Stock again !! $24.00 delivered in the USA
  5. Nothing other than your teeth and Ears
  6. Must be the V-tech
  7. Fog City Insert for the Arai Helmet "PERFECT" Just stop by www.Bikebits.us and pick out your favorite insert and be done with a foggy faceshield forever !!!! The Hyper Optiks is for use if you have a bright sunshine problem as well. I have the Hyper Optiks Universal in my Shoei and absolutely no fog for the two years since I installed it.
  8. You are all hooked up... I have a Red Fox hugger on my Blackbird, and it has no impact on the Pro Oiler whatsover. WC Does that mean your are going to organize the Group Buy on the Pro Oiler ??
  9. I hope not since I have a Pyramid Hugger on already and want an Oiler someday.
  10. ???? Those Foggy Breather things ...............?????????????????? Come on Dave are you fishin again ? Sounds like some kind of sick Sex Toy........ Well I for one am not going for the bait this time
  11. They are touted as a dual compound tire, softer on the sides, harder in the center. I really never toured with my XX, used it more as a sport bike. I prefered the Powers ( and before them the Pilot Sports ) because they are a sportier tire than the Pilot Roads. It is really a matter of personal preference. Plot Powers are NOT a dual compound tire, the Michelin Pilot race tires are. In another recent thread, Helvet (board member from the Netherlands) noted that Michelin is introducing a dual compound Pilot Power in Europe this year -- do a search, but I think it's to be called a "Pilot Power 2CT". Pilot Powers as we know them here ARE the sport tire you mention and they are touted as getting up to optimum temperatures for road use quickly. Like you, I've had the Powers and Sports and like them very much. But if we ever get a dual compound Pilot Power in the U.S., with a Pilot Road like center band, I'm going to be all over them. +1
  12. That Ear was Mine ! I can't believe you let me ride all the way to the Gas Station before letting me know I was riding with only one Ear on my helmet !!!! Jeeeesh!! CCT's or Lifter Sets as Honda calls them are $34.50 shipped Priority Mail within the US. I sold my last one on Saturday and have another 10 on order from Honda but they won't back in stock until next week. Actually I am out of stock on alot of stuff right now. Waiting on the FogCity Lenses to get in from California as well as the Blackbird embroidered Patch also.

  14. Akropovic does make a very nice 4 to 1 but is alittle pricey Micron also makes a great 4 to 1 and keep the center stand
  15. It was early Saturday so It got out that same day. Glad it solved your rattling problem. Now to get more in stock from Honda !! That was my last one on hand. England keeps me sold out ! I send over the pond at least 10 a month.!!! the Euro models must be regular rattle traps, Damn Honda Crap bikes !!
  16. I am going to go against the grain here. I just replaced my Powers with another set of Roads. I have used roads exclusively since they came out and had the Macadam before them. The roads are very sticky and confidence inspiring but I got about 3000-4000 miles less wear than I get from the Roads. I live in Florida the Home of "11 curves in 318 miles" so the Roads are back on my new Gold Wheels. I have ridden the Gap a few times with members here and was always on Roads then. I am not fast or press really hard but for all the group rides I have been on, NEXXT, SEXXT, FUXXT and the Honda Hoot, I have never been given the feeling of a tire even thinking about breaking loose on me. I really like the roads and even did a track day on the roads last year with no problems.
  17. I have to put my .02 in here. First of all the #7424 is an orbital buffer hence safe to use without leaving swirls, that is as long as your pads are clean and free of any girt particles. An orbital does not generate enough heat to "burn" the finish as a rotary or high speed will do very quickly. You are safe using an orbital. The company I have worked for 12 years now sells over a dozen of the 7424's weekly to the Car Wash and Detail Industry. It is a very nice unit. The big difference in your results is determined by the pads you use on the 7424. Make sure you use a clean "Finishing" pad. The pads are machine washable if you get quality pads. In your case I would recomend using a Micro-Fiber bonnet over top of a finishing pad. No chance of adding any swirl marks in the worst case and microfiber is the best item available for leaving a flawless finish. Don't let marketing campaign's determine what products you buy. The biggest names such as 3M or Meguires will give no better results than many off brand names, that it looks like you have already found out for yourself. The real trick is in patience, perseverence, right tool and clean pads and bonnets. Did I say how important clean pads and bonnets are ?? Most bonnets are reversible also. If you need them I have plenty of micro-fiber bonnets to fit the 7424 that I own myself. Can mail a few out to you if you need them. Sounds to me that sanding and/or componds are way overkill for your needs. A decent swirl remover or finishing product that you already have will work just fine when used lightly with the proper tool will fix your Bird right up to look like new. I create and publish a 60 page Professional Detailers catalog every 2 years for Sonny's, The Car Wash Fatory. My department buys and sells over 3/4 million dollars yearly in Detail products. We dropped the Meguires line of products last year due to costs and not agreeing with their strategy in marketing at a corporate level. Pick up a 7424 and a few pads if you can afford it. It is a very useful tool that will be used on all your vehicles as well as the Bird. It will produce an awesome finish with minimal effort. I will provide you good quality washable/reverseable micro-fiber bonnets to use, free-be's. I get samples from overseas suppliers trying to convince me to buy their bonnets. I buy whole containers of Micro-Fiber direct from the manufacture in Korea every quarter. Do it yourself ! With a little patience and effort there will be a big grin on your face and the satisfaction, knowing you did it yourself.

  23. +1 Install the pointed bolt and install the plastic and then push on the plastic with palm to mark the exact drill point on the inside. Just be sure to drill the pilot hole from the inside and then reverse and drill the larger hole-saw hole from the outside with masking tape covering the skin to prevent a rough edge along the side of the hole. No measuring needed - quick and easy - perfect fit
