  1. Just FYI. I changed The oil in my Blackbird a few days ago. I dropped the drain plug and that washer went somewhere in the corner of my garage never to be found again. I unwillingly screwed the drain plug back in, put in the oil, and waited for the leaking to start. To my surprise, It hasn't leaked a drop. Although I'll probably get one when I get a chance, In reality, it seems that you really don't need that little pissant washer! Ron
  2. I never said it was "dead on at any speed" I said it was reading 6 or 7mph fast consistently, and that is exactly what it does at 60mph.
  3. I didn't check it at 10mph, I usually ride a little faster that that. Yes, speedo reading 66mph, actual speed 60. According to my gps. Make sense now?
  4. I recently checked my speedo for accuracy with my gps. Speedo was reading 6 or 7 mph fast, consistently. Ron
  5. You'renot helping your cause running that 102 octane. The higher the octane the harder it is to burn, and won't burn as hot as 92 octane unless you have about 13 to 1 compression. And not to mention it's about $ 4.00 a gallon. Ron
  6. Thanks for all of the replies. Now I'll have to rethink the situation. Ron
  7. Has anyone tried to modify the stock exhaust system for better sound and improved flow? With the price of aftermarket systems, I think it would be well worth the effort. Just thought I would ask before I start cutting. Thanks, Ron
