  1. HJC CL-33 3/4 helmet Small: Rolled down my driveway, has very minor scratches. The scratches on the shield are in the peripheral vision and wearer of the helmet barely can notice them. $45 plus shipping Medium: Almost perfect condition, comes with some bugs from kentucky. $60 plus shipping
  2. $75 shipped. Paypal preferred, but will take check.
  3. When did you have a wreck? I looked and can't find anything about it. Never posted. Just got back from hospitol sunday, and been laying around mostly.
  4. Rather than part it out, i'd like to see if there is any interest in my 99 BB as a parts bike, or a project bike. Bike has rebuilt title. Around 45,000 miles. I will post detailed pics soon, but I broke my ankle, foot, and back in this wreck, so I'll get those ASAP. The bike is rideable, but needs most plastic, and the rear subframe appears to be tweaked. Two-bro's header and pipes untouched, chrome rims, forks with race tech springs, VFR bars, HID low beam, givi top box (but no the mount), all fine. PM me for more info. I'm looking for around $1500 for the whole lot.
  5. Pics to come tonight! I'm still at work.... (shhhhh)
  6. Wilbur's rear shock for 99 BB. Basic model, adjustable preload with spanner wrench. Geared for a gentleman of larger proportion. (In other words, over 220). Only seen about 9000 miles. PM for details.
  7. $400 obo. In good shape, will post pics later. PM me for details.

HID Low beam set up. $3500 priced for a quick sell! PM for any details.
  9. Damn, just the exhaust and suspentsion is worth $3500. I want it, but my wife would probably cut off my balls, and I like my balls.....
  10. No doubt your bike is as minty as they come...but dont expect to sell it for those #'s. $5500 -$6500 is more realistic. +1. $7500-8500 gets you a new '08 bike. Or a very low mile 2003! Still a sweet bike though!
  11. Smuggler is in good condition, one scuff mark on it, probably would buff out, but I'm too lazy. Not selling smuggler unless the bike sells.
  12. Just bought this bike a few months ago and I love it, but unfortunately, I wrecked my FJR, and I really need another sport-touring bike. The bird is a great bike, but I'm just not comfortable on it for 600-700 mile days. Here is the thread from when I bought it. Please see here for extras, a lot! clicky This is a great bike, and it runs like a scalded ape! Only difference is I added a corbin smuggler, which looks great, and lets me have room for a few things without having to put the givi trunk on. $4400 with the smuggler, $4000 without smuggler. Will post pics tonight.
  13. Oh sure.... now you lower the price!!!! After I already bought one. Wish you would have done it for 4k back when I was looking.... Nice bike, I can't believe it hasn't sold yet....
  14. From what I saw the sizes available will not work for our bikes... at least the XX Does your blackbird use something else than 120/70/17 180/55/17 Roadsmarts can be had for 230.00 for the pair from parts411 right now. That's a lot cheaper than PR2's, maybe enough to justify less mileage. Cause thats available in the Roadsmart.
  15. This was the only thread I could find about roadsmarts. They are getting great reviews on the FJRforum, and believe me, many of us over there have run just about every tire under the sun including PR2's, 2CT's, Stradas, Storms.......... The BB obviously has more power, but weighs less, so I'm considering trying a pair on the BB. Anybody try them yet???
  16. Thanks for link, but most of those are stock.... but they don't even want money for them, just pounds... Hmmm... pounds of what I wonder....
  17. Bump, still looking. Preferably a shock setup for rider 160-220 pounds. Thanks.
  18. Read the first line and thought, awwwww shizzzz. Read the second line and thought, you got me bastard!
  19. I'm in the process of buying a smuggler for my 99. It has a givi rack on it, and i didn't know if the smuggler and the givi rack would interfere with each other. It doesn't look like it, but if anyone has both, I'd really appreciate a post. I hate to buy the damn thing and then learn I can't use it.
  20. It's a 99, probably not the recall issue. I'll try bleeding them first, and see if that helps. Hopefully that will be all it takes.
  21. I had posted previously about how my rear brake was squishy.... Well, I did some more testing and confirmed, something is going on here. If I stomp on the rear brake without pumping it, nothing.... Literally nothing, the lever just presses all the way down no resistance. If I pump it a few times, I get the rear back. I'm going to try a few things and just wondering if anyone who is a better wrench than I could chime in. 1. Going to bleed rear brake. Have a mightyvac, so hopefully I can do it right and make sure there is no air in there. 2. Going to disasemble rear brake, clean pisonts and pins. Brake pads are new, so I think it's just air in the line? Any other ideas?
  22. I know this is unlikely to find, but I'd like to pic one up from someone, maybe who is selling their bike and wants to trade for a stocker and $$. Will take any shock, even a penske sport would work for me.
