I just purchased the NEP and have some install Q's. Looks to be very simple but wanted to make sure that trimming the tab down to fit between the cables was what everyone here has done. This may be a stupid question but I can't get to the main site where it showed the install of the NEP. With the site down is there anyway to access the site mabey I just don't have the correct address. Please excuse my ignorance.

EBC reccomends that you do 250 miles of stop and go (in town) type of riding on new pads to completly break them in before getting hard on the right lever. Hope that helps Mike

Oh yeah, nothing but straight and flat. Mattoon is right in the prarie so there are only a few small knobs for hills and only fence rows or small sections of tember. I have to travel to get to good roads. It is also to heavly populated to do much high speed stuff this I know fom experience (102mph in a 55mph) cost me about 238 big ones. I am in agricultural sales so mattoon puts me right in the middle of things.

I have a 97' with 20,000 miles on it. I will change chain and sprokets this winter with around 23 to 24k on the dial. First change but still looks real good. I oil with maxim chain wax roughly every 200 miles. i would say that I ride avrage to a little hard but also do a lot of commuting to and from work. Hope that helps. :bike:
