  1. I know of a place locally that will build a turbo kit for my 98 (carbed) 'bird but I was wanting to look for other kits. Are there any available online? Thanks!
  2. Well, the only mod that I have now is a Factory Pro Jet Kit...so it's a 98. A lot of people say that instead of putting all this money into a carbed bike, I should just get a EFI bird. That is one thing that I will not do. See, this bike belonged to a good friend's son. His son passed away several years ago. He was very reluctant to sell it to me but I told him what my plans were for the bike and he told me that it would have made his son very happy. So, with that being said, a different bike is out of the question. For now, I am looking at mods that I could use and it would still be street friendly. I am looking into getting an R1 just to have as a daily driver and when I get that then I am going to try to turn the BB into a track monster. Soon I will be getting my NHRA competitors license. I pretty much already know what I am going to do, as listed above, but I just want to make sure I am not forgetting anything. Thanks!
  3. My goal is to be as fast as possible (1/4 mile drag) without using a turbo or nitrous. So, here are my plans of future mods: FCR Downdraft Carbs Flo-Commander with Filter Difuser and K-1 Remote Akrapovic Sport Full Exhaust Swingarm Extensions JT 16/45 sprockets Shift kit These are the parts that I am still researching and haven't found or decided on: Clutch Ignition Advancer Tires/Rims So, bring on the opinions.

Well it ain't OzBlackbird because it's been down for a week due to the sever shitting itself and no backups being done by the hosting company well, last night I installed the 142s on the outside carbs and checked the inside carbs and they are 142s. I was pleasantly surprized how much of an improvement there was. I mean....WOW!!!
  5. I was just told from a guy on another xx forum that the stock jets on carbs 2 and 3 (the inside 2 carbs) are already 142s. They said you just need to replace the jets on carbs 1 and 4 (the 2 outside carbs) They told me not to use the 145s until I get aftermarket exhaust.
  6. I just purchased the factory pro jet kit and I have started to install it. But, I was told to use 142s all across. My kit only came with 2 of the 142s and came with 4 of all the others (145, 148, 150) My bike is a 98 and the only mod, if you consider it a mod, is a K&N air filter. Am I for sure supposed to use the 142s? How many should have come in the kit? Also, I was reading the parts list on the kit and it lists that it is only supposed to come with 2. If so, which ones do I use for the other 2? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
