  1. Mikey - I've tried shipping a few things to Canada before, it's a lot easier to mail within the US. Let me see if RXX is still interested. RXX - Please PM me if still interested. Thanks to you both - Charlie
  2. I'd like to clear it out before winter so if anyone wants it feel free to make an offer. If you can use it and your offer is enough to cover shipping it's yours.
  3. The longer this sits in my garage the more likely it is to get damaged. I'd like to clear it out before winter so if anyone wants it let me know and it's yours for $10. I'll pay shipping.
  4. Sorry for the slow response. As Tigerpaw mentions above it is sold. For some reason I do not have an "edit" button on my posts. I was hoping to show "SOLD" at the top - but so far I haven't been able to do so.
  5. I think both Kiwimack and Tigerpaw want the SW Motech adapter, except Tigerpaw wants the case with it. The universal mounting plate is intended for tubular and/or flat rear racks. The universal mount does not work with a SW Motech Alu rack or with a Givi Wingrack. Not sure if this helps clarify things or not.
  6. Thanks for asking. That was not my original thought, because the adaptor works for any Monolock case, so it can be sold separately. I had to buy the adaptor as an extra part for $40, it's in great shape so I thought 1/2 price was fair. I'd have to think on it a little bit.
  7. I can't figure out how to edit my original post. Price reduction from $25 to $20.
  8. I can't figure out how to edit my original post. Price reduction from $50 to $40.
  9. Quite a while back there was a fair bit of discussion here about using shocks from other Hondas as a replacement/upgrade to the XX shock. I looked into it a little bit. The parts manager at my local Honda dealer had an XX and said he bought this shock to upgrade his bike. He ended up selling his XX and leaving the dealership right after he got the shock, so I bought it. I was never sure it was the right size, so I ended up buying a Penske and this sat in my garage for 8 years.
  10. The top case latches right onto the SW-Motech Adaptor (the adaptor is for Monolock cases), which goes right onto the Alu rack (the adaptor takes all of 10 seconds to put on or take the rack). I used this Givi and adaptor with an Alu rack on my XX. That's why the universal mounting plate is unopened. It worked well.
  11. Showa MBW-003 motorcycle rear shock absorber in good shape. Has been sitting in a box in my garage for 8 years, unused. I purchased it for a CBR1100XX project but never used it. Looks like it fits a number of different Honda CBR600 models and years. You would need to double-check which ones. $50 $40 Free for the cost of shipping.
  12. Givi E370NT Monolock Top Case – 39 liter - in very good to excellent condition. Comes with universal mounting plate (still unopened) and 2 keys. Also comes with Givi backrest. The case currently sells new for approx $160 and the backrest $55 or $215 total. Will sell both for $115 $100 plus shipping. Also have SW-Motech Adaptor plate for use with SW-Motech alu racks. New cost $40, will include for $20.
  13. Front Fairing decal for cbr1100xx Blackbird new and unopened. Honda part#64419-MAT-A10ZA. Originally purchased for 2000 Titanium XX. It looks like it works on different colored fairings but you should double check. Cost approx $50, sell for $25 plus shipping. EDIT.........price reduction to $20 plus shipping. rockme EDIT: Free for the cost of shipping.
  14. Hey 99Bird, Thanks for the quick reply on the Microns. I'll send you a PM tomorrow morning and we can sort out the details. Gotta go.
  15. Discussed below are some parts I just took off my XX, which is for sale by separate post. All the parts are in great shape. I'm showing the prices I would like to get (+ shipping), but I'll entertain offers. I'll try to add some pictures over the next day or two. Micron CF Cans (cost $899) - would swap for stock + $300 SOLD Superbrace with protectors (cost $169) sell for $90 SOLD Penske rear shock 8981 set up for 225lb rider (cost $725) sell for $400 SOLD SW Motech rack modied to fit topcase to Beetlebags (cost $425 for rack +mods) sell for $200 SOLD MRA Vario Touring Windscreen (cost $155) sell for $90SOLD ZG Touring sreen + MRA adjustable airfoil (cost $165) sell for $90 SOLD Also have Dave's front peg lowering kit currently on bike. The rear pegs currently on the bike are Buell and machined to fit. They lower the peg by 1" and move it forward 1". Makes a noticeable improvement in comfort. I would consider selling Dave's kit and the rear pegs together as a "comfort" ensemble for $100. Thanks for looking.
  16. SOLD - THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR LOOKING This is the same bike I posted earlier - but with the touring farkles taken off. I apologize if I should have amended my earlier post - but I figured a clean post would be easier to follow. I would delete the earlier one if I knew how. Located in Auburn NH – next to Manchester NH. Price as listed below - with Microns $4,350 If I swap Microns for stock - $3,950 Here's what is on it now: ·Currently has 18,900 miles (with a few more each week) ·Approx $1,700 in quality modifications ·Always garaged – never rained on – always looks like it does in the photos (except for bugs) ·Micron twin competition oval carbon fiber exhaust cans – nice low throaty sound ·Power Commander II with custom map to match Microns Please Note: I would be willing to sell the Microns for $300+stock mufflers (Cost $899 on Micron site) ·Front forks – Ohlins valving ·Front forks – Racetech springs ·New Battlax BT023 on front ·Rear Battlax BT 020 approx 1,500 miles ·Front seat section redone by Spencer – high quality long distance touring foam ·Rear seat redone by custom seat builder to add comfort padding – increase height by 1” ·Front pegs – Dave’s lowering kit ·Rear pegs – Buell pegs machined to fit – lower and forward by 1 inch The Bad ·I like to practice tight figure-8’s at the top of the driveway (shown in pics). Dog came out of garage while bike was healed way over during turn. Slammed the brakes to complete stop but could not get the bike back up – so gently placed in down on right side while stopped. I’m anal about how it looks so I had scratches on right lower front fairing and right Beetle bag repainted. Liked the look of the fairing without the decals (which I always remove from my bikes whenever possible) so I removed the decals from the left side, which has never been scratched. ·The bike has 2 – 3 minor nicks accumulated over time, mostly from my kids while the bike was parked and uncovered in the garage. Have to be right next to the bike to find them. Some of the parts I took off are already sold. I will post a separte ad for the ones I still have. Here are a couple of pictures taken in late afternoon. My flash went off - hence the bright yellow reflector.
  17. Bill, I will keep you mind for the bags if I de-farkle it. I only put about 1,000+(-) miles on it a year. Most of my riding is on other bikes. In the case of the XX I have a couple of good deal options for a pair of dirt bikes here in the States for my son and me, or a good deal for a bike in Europe, where I do most of my riding. I'm severely conflicted because as BarryG mentioned above the XX is set up really nice. My wife and I went for a great ride a couple of days ago and I would not be too bothered if I ended up keeping it.
  18. Hi ptxyz, I don't think the fork brace makes a big difference, if any on the street. Maybe two-up and hustling, particularly coming downhill on the brakes with all the weight transferring to the front. I took the XX on a few track days up to the NH International Speedway in Loudon NH. I think it helped there, especially when hard on the brakes and/or trail braking. I've had a couple of other bikes with linked brakes where the front brake lever activated the calibers on one side only and a fork brace made noticeable difference in those situations.
  19. Hey Cal - You'll be the first to know on the Beetle bags if I tear it down. Is this for an additional XX or a replacement XX? To BarryG and icepick - thanks for the feedback. I believe you're right about the age, the market, finding the right buyer, etc. I've had some interest if the bike were closer to stock and in the $4K - $5K range. Ideally I would like to sell it by Sept 7 because I have a specific purpose in mind for the money. If it's not sold by then I will likely bide my time or simply hold onto it. I get to ride some new Hondas and BMW's every year and my XX with all the goodies works real well - so no need to switch. I'll make up my mind by Saturday about taking off the farkles and post any updates then. Thanks again to everyone for the feedback - much appreciated.
  20. spicholy - thanks for the feedback. No question the economy has every (almost everyone) tight for cash. I'll give some thought to your suggestion.
