Cool so I guess the valve is rebuild-able?

Found a small fuel leak on the bike. It turns out someone worked on it and did not return the spring clamps on the fuel lines going to the tank. When I pulled them off fuel start running out every where. My question is I thought the fuel valve was vacuum operated? Is the valve I have bad if it pours fuel when the bike is not running? Thanks Mike

Thanks so much. I looked for a while on the bike and did not appear to see one. I know on older dirt bikes and stuff it was a good idea to turn the fuel off if it sat for long periods of time. Thanks Again Mike

IS there one factory on a 97 model? If so where is it located. Thanks Mike
