  1. +1 - its good form to sell it to first responder if they close the deal with arrangements, otherwise go down the list. and hey, if the few hundred other interested parties in line fall thru, I'll fly out there and hand you cash for it. Josh wins! Thanks for everyones interest. If I ever wreck another XX Ill let you know! BadAndy
  2. I have 7 people interested in this bike! How do I choose a winner? They all are offering the same price, They all seem like nice people. The out of state folks are making payment and pickup very easy on me. Sheesh I thought is would be tuff to sell this bike in December, thats why i priced it so low. What a fool i was. Any suggestions? Bad Andy
  3. Wow, Im being bombarded with PMs. Its kinda confusing who I said what to. If you are interested emailing me directly would be the easiest for me. andyhastings@verizon.net thanks! BadAndy :icon_shifty:
  4. ok here are some pics. It makes me sad to sell this for so cheap, but i need it gone. You will see the left mirror bracket is broken but thats only a $26 part. The reason its priced so low is that I need it out of my garage ASAP. If I hold on to it, I'll keep it. I love this bike.
  5. 2000 Honda CBR 1100XX Blackbird. Titanium color 14k miles on it. Perfect running condition. Minor cosmetic damage on left side. Tagged until May '08 in Delaware. Oil changed less than 1k miles ago. I can let this go for $2400. Its really a good deal, I just need it out of here. This bike comes with matching Corbin Beetle bags. These saddle bags have locks and upholstery on the inside. Very handy for commuting! $1200 value! I dropped this bike and the left side of the body is scratched, not broken. I have an estimate from Powersports East to return it to like-new condition. The back tire (Avon ST) has about 5000 miles on it. Still looks new though., no chicken strips. This is a great deal. Replace some body panels and have a brand new bike! With new body panels the bike is worth $4500 - $5500 I have a price from Direct Line for new parts $1647.24. These are the parts the dealer told me I needed. The bike is in Delaware Thanks! BadAndy
  6. Well, it happened. I went down. I was very lucky, only broke my hand and Im almost healed. The Bird damage is only cosmetic, and insurance is paying for all new plastics n stuff. Once I get it looking as good as new, Ill do most of the work myself, how much can I get for this bike? It has less than 15K miles on it and its a 2000 Titanium Bird, you know, the real fast ones . Its got a new Avon ST rear with 2k on it (looks brand new) AND it comes with matching Corbin Beetle bags, one of them was scratched when I bought it. Its really in great shape, but I need a different commuter vehicle. I hate to see it go. Anyone have any ideas or does anyone want to make an offer? And any suggestions where to get the plastics? Do they come with with stickers? thanks BadAndy '00 XX Titanium

    Oil Change

Can someone please point me to the post about changing the oil with removing the fairing. Im pretty sure I read it here but I cant find it. Changed my oil yesterday for the first time. I planned on NOT removing the side fairing because "I can get my hand on the filter so I should be able to remove it". HA! After fighting with it for the better part of the morning, I removed the faring, jammed a screwdriver through it and twisted it off that way. Sheesh. And By the way, anyone know where I can get those little plastic pop rivets for the fairing? I couple of them were destroyed in the battle. Thanks for your help! 9. Hi Gang, I bought my '00 XX last year with 1700 miles on it and the factory rubber was fine. Well Im up to 8700 miles and my rear has a pretty yellow stripe down the center. The yellow doesn't match the Titanium so I decided to get a new tire. A new Avon 56 is on its way to me now. YIPPIE! Are new tires slippery? Will I have to take sandpaper to it before I crank it over on its side at 90 mph? Thanks, BadAndy
