  1. I hope you put some 4-6mil plastic behind it as a vapor barrier in the shower.
  2. Woooohoooo............................. I won one on Ebay for $127.50!
  3. I just got back from trying to buy one off craigslist. the lady paid to much for it new and is wanting to much for it now. Ebay has 20+ listings for under $175, she wouldn't budge off her asking price of 2fiddy. I think it should work fine for what I would use it for. I have a bunch of finish guns, compressors and lines. I am just tired of hauling all of it around and listening to the damn compressor running when I use a gun. Wanna sell yours Todd?
  4. I've been looking into maybe getting one and wanted to know if anyone has used one? I would use it for light indoor remodeling. For instance, I have a drop ceiling that I have to install this next week. It would be nice to not have to haul a compressor and hose around inorder to use a nail gun.
  5. If your not having to move it alot get the heaviest duty one you can afford. It sounds like a hellova nice saw C. I was lugging around a 325lb ridgid from job to job in Cali, worked great but moving it was a pain. I went with a smaller Royobi 10" nowadays. Works great and is nice and portable.
  6. :icon_imwifstupid: :icon_imwifstupid: Unless your running mid to upper A group pace, trackday tires should last a good 4-6 trackdays easily. You can run them a couple of more days without any issues Rich.

Eddy the difference is like day and night. Your XX compared to a 1990 CBR1000 different!
  8. She was such a cool bike. At least she wasn't crashed when she died. I could use a bike like that now for touring.
  9. Wide platform is nice. I used one for a few years. You can place tools and parts within easy reach of the job your doing. You can easily sit on the bike if needed. Rear wheel plate is removable if needed. Just make sure you strap the bike down good.
  10. 6'2" and I went the opposite way with my mod. I raised the seat an inch. Rode 18hrs and legs were the least of my worries. My ass on the other hand was another story.

Purely guesstimating I'd say C/C rotors are $3000, Forks are $3500, Wheel was $1000, Monoblock GP calipers were $2000, Magnesium clipper mounts $1000 and brake pads are $300? Total in the picture, $10k+!

This is off a buddies super sik RC45! ......................................................................................................................................................... Sequence of events: First came the 3.50 x 17 Marchesini magnesium wheel once owned by Wayne Rainey... Next came the Brembo billet calipers... Then I machined my own magnesium caliper hangers... I also machined my own axle out of 7075 T6 aluminum... I added a QB carbon fender... Finally the addition of Ferodo's Ceramic Matrix Composite rotors for a 3 lb drop in weight... How it all adds up: Stock Honda 310mm stainless steel 3 lbs 4 oz Ferodo 320mm Ductle Iron 2 lb 8 oz Ceramic Matrix Composite 1 lb 7 oz Quote my good friend Jeff Gehrs of Brake Tech USA "Brake Tech USA is very pleased to announce the release of the long awaited, ultra-advanced technology Ceramic Matrix Composite brake rotors for the Motorcycle Industry. The AXIS/StarBladeā„¢ is the new and updated MKII version incorporating now de-classified Stealth Bomber Aircraft technology manufactured by Starfire Systems, this revolutionary material will change the way both top-level race teams and enthusiasts alike view their braking systems. The performance parameters in-total make all previous materials and systems dated by comparison, including the vaunted Carbon/carbon brakes. Designed to perform brilliantly with OEM calipers as well as the Billet GP race-spec versions. This all-new composite material offers the best features of premium iron rotors with the incredible lightweight of carbon, and none of the Carbon/carbon foibles!" Performance features include: * Not thermally sensitive (will work great on the street) * Ultra broad torque curve across a very wide thermal range * Much longer lasting than Carbon / carbon * Much less expensive than Carbon / carbon * Great wet weather performance - unlike Carbon / carbon [not hygroscopic] * Terrific feel and feedback at the lever * Strong braking performance? We mean, Really strong: +.6 mu average friction with special Ferodo Racing brake pads
  15. Sold it 30 minutes ago! Deliver it tomorrow and pick up my new bike on thursday evening. 2008 Husky SM610 with 320 miles on it. Saved $3000 verses new
  16. Weak battery connection! I had a loose negitive battery cable on the RC once and it would power the everything including the pump but when I hit the start button the pump stopped working. Check the connections.
  17. Did you check all the fuses? Been here, done this. Are there more than one area that has fuses? My RC was doing the same thing and it ended up being a separate fuse from the box that was bad. There were 3 areas that had fuses.
  18. $5750..................I found a bike I want and this one needs to go bye bye.
  19. Not that I am aware of. I only know they will fit the other honda makes from looking at BST's website along time ago when I was buying them. I am sure someone with some machining skill could make them work but you would need to fabricate a few things.
  20. BST Full Carbon Fiber wheels. These are the ultimate BLING for any sportsbike. They fit most Hondas and are very, very light weight and incredibly strong. Comes with a set of Pirelli tires used 1 weekend at the trackday I was instructing at for Doug Chandler/Track Crafters in California. The wheels retail over $4000 and the tires are a $350 of rubber, super sticky and plenty of tread left. I sold my race bike and have a few trick bits left over that I am getting rid of. $2500
