  1. Those look like my old Rens. Damn nice pipes, new owners will be ape shit happy with them. Only set I have ever seen in the USA other than my old ones!
  2. $9800 seems like a hellova deal....................................I just ran across it and wanted to let anyone here know about it, in case they are interested. I have no dog in this fight. http://norfolk.craigslist.org/mcy/2910944228.html
  3. Damn good price! I ran BST's for several years on the RC. Man what a difference wheels make in the handling, braking and acceleration! I am not a fan of Dymag's after seeing one disintegrate at Spring Mountain Raceway in Pahrump, NV......ymmv
  4. Howie, my brotha from anotha motha! Sorry to see it go but bikes come and go. The new v4 will be a nice steed for you to throw around. And guys, there is not another XX like this on the planet. I had the pleasure of riding at the sharp end of the stick in Red Bluff with Howie and along with building a bad ass bike, the guy rides like a freakin PRO!
  5. Stickers still on it ($119) and its been used 3-4 times. $80 plus shipping http://www.rhinostand.com/
  6. If you are wanting sound insulation use the 2" styrafoam insulation. Regular fiberglass will not do squat for sound deading.
  7. Gotta love CL. I posted here and CL and within hours a guy saw them on CL said he wanted them. Being a CL whore myself. It is amazing the deals you can get on there.
  8. I am clearing some space off the gear rack. This is an AStar 2 peice suit, size 58 jacket. Pants are a 36 inch waist and I have 34" legs. I am 6'2" 225lbs and they fit me nice. Only problem with them is the zipper tab broke and I use a zip tie to pull the zipper up and down on the jacket, works fine. These have never been crashed and they have some bug juice on them. I will clean them but they will not be in new condition, naturally. no knee sliders on them. Original price was like $700-800. $250
  9. Way to much to write here. Alot of good stuff and a big bad black cloud hanging over my head to keep me humble and focused on whats important in life. Right coast is treating me very well. If you're ever in the Virginia Beach area dinners on me. BTW good to hear you still own the trickest XX on the planet.
  10. Thanks guys. I appreciate the pm's and posts. If your on other boards and know of someone looking for a tard, point them in my direction. No problem shipping to other parts of the country via UShip.
  11. My dad has a week or two to live and have to get out there on short notice. I will have to spend time in Cali taking care of affairs as well as keeping the boat afloat here in VB.
  12. Selling the toys. Low mileage and in good condition. 08 Husky has 1955 mi. LeoV slipon, power mod, heated grips, distanza tires and a extra set of tires. It is one bad ass mofo! $5300 08 Yamaha has 1355 mi. Stock with lowering link and lowered stock seat. Distanza tires with extra set of street tires. $4000
  13. We bought this for Kate to learn to ride but with to many hobbies and not enough time, its better to let her go to someone that will ride it. Perfect bike for someone on the shorter side. Rides great and runs fast enough to lap liter bikes at Jennings! Like New! 2008 Yamaha WR250X Supermoto Yamaha Blue Lowered 1" with Yamalink Lowered seat professionally done New Avon Distanza tires Cycra hand guards Low miles 1297 mi. $4500 and willing to ship. You pay shipping.
  14. I used raw stock for everything Tim. Cut, routed, sanded and painted everything before installation. It's a one off in every way. Dave, I charged the lady $2800 for demo and rebuild including material.
  15. Thanks Brett. The neighbor who had helped build the rock FP, was not happy to see it torn down though.
  16. A client hated the stone river rock FP in her newly purchased house and wanted it removed and rebuilt. She chose a picture from a FP book I had given her and this is what we built for her. This would look great in a log cabin. But not so nice in a modern tract home. Before After
  17. Alittle metal air duct tape may solve that problem. Try normal duct tape first and if it seals it use the metal tape. YMMV
  18. As a remodeling contractor, I use my table saw ALOT. For years I hauled around a big, sturdy, HD tablesaw. Just moving it around the shop was a PIA, muchless loading and unloading it to take to jobsites. It took up to way to much room. Since then I purchased a Ryobi folding table saw and love it. Big enough to cut 3/4 sheets, folding and portable so it does not take up any space in my trailer. Hook up a shop vac and she makes very little mess. Get a adjustable "T" shaped board holder for the longer stuff and your set. Space in shops and basements are a premium. Unless it is a tool/machine you use alot. I would not put something that takes up alot of space and is not easily movable.
  19. Thanks Todd, the island was supposed to be parallel to the cabinets originially. I slide the rough framed island over one afternoon and thought DAMN that looks good and gives alot more room to work in behind the island, plus it was easy to slide things onto the island from the oven. I spoke to the owners about it and they loved the idea. The bench is an IKEA dinette set. Eric nice work and thanks. Funny how things turn out much better when the owner of the company does the work......
  20. Thanks John! Pretty much the entire plan was laid out in my head once I got the clients to agree with knocking down the wall. The only thing she wanted/requested was a double oven since she bakes ALOT. I spent an evening drawing plans and presented it to them. Needless to say they were overwhelmed with the ideas. I did not pick the colors, I am color blind and ALWAYS have the clients pick colors since they are the ones that have to look at it everyday. This is my altime favorite kitchen so far. It is the 4th one for VBR in the last 15 months. I do not sub out anything and do all the work myself, so it takes alittle longer than other remodeling companies that bring in 4-6 people on a job and have it done in 3-4 weeks for twice the price. From start to finish it took about 70 days with some odds and ends (favors) done when I returned from florida after new years. I'll be happy to take a look at whatcha got and give you some ideas next time I get down your way.
  21. Mr and Mrs Beatty are happy campers. This was a refurral from some friends. I removed a wall, moved a doorway, cut into wood floor and removed 2ft to enlarge kitchen floor, removed sliding back door and installed single full glass door, included a new island (control center), had custom built cabs and corian counter tops installed. 1st day: tear out cabinet and knock a hole in the wall. More pics.....................Here.
