  1. What are the K&N and Purolator part numbers?
  2. I have the Two Brothers pipes on my bike. I really love the way they sound! These pipes came with the bike; I bought the bike used. If the bike had the stock pipes, I would keep them stock. Not that I dislike aftermarket pipes, but the small increase in power isn't worth the loot for me. I can think of various other mods I can spend that cash on first. Perhaps then, (after those mods) will I consider buying pipes. On the other hand... I really love the way these pipes sound!
  3. I use Mobil 1 15w50 too. http://www.ducatimeccanica.com/oil.html
  4. I still can't get into my XX account through the squirrelmail link. Is this an issue being worked out? Or did we lose that feature now that we switched homes?
  5. YOU BASTID!!
  6. DAMMIT MAN!! Just got an email from K&N... That sucks!! Oh well... Time to head back to ebay and keep an eye out for one.
  7. Swamp On your website, you mixed 10w and 15w. If I were to do the quick fluid change with my stock springs, could I just use 15w?
  8. Thanks man! Just put my order in for one.

Yeah, I noticed that with some lights! One route in particular was when I lived in VA. The route I usually took to work was a one way street with three lanes. I don't recall how many lights there were but at the posted 30 mph, I'd hit most of the lights. But, if I were to do 45 mph I'd make every single light! Traffic engineers... Sheesh!
  10. Possibly, but don't hold me to it: Clean the contacts in the low/hi switch and add dielectric grease in there. Works wonders.

Nolan, actually. The N100, flipface. I like it. Especially in the summer. My Shoei RFR got so damned hot! Being able to open the face helped relieve a lot of the heat. My next step is the Concept. I have a few other upgrades for the XX I'd like to get first. That helmet, with the combination of the DB, probably have something to do with my wind cutting ability. I don't remember the highway. Possibly the same one you rode on when you went to CA. But, when I left your house I took whatever it was (I-8?) towards Gila Bend. It was awesome! Hardly any cars. Almost the whole way was open road. Too bad my chain was fucked up, or I would have tried to top it out.

 That's at least 72 to 90 miles covered!! Sheesh! I'da fallen off long ago from exhaustion. I thought my helmet was gonna get ripped off my shoulders, with my head still in the helmet, when I broke 150mph for only a few seconds! Let alone, half an hour! That blackbird may be about as aerodynamic as a bullet, but I'm only as aerodynamic as a brick...
  13. I can never say enough good things about Cycle Gear. They always amaze me! Great store. Great selection. Excellent customer service. Excellent return policy. Good to decent prices. Wonderful price matching policy.
  14. I've been getting anywhere between 30 and 42 mpg, depending how hard I ride.
  15. I could have sworn somebody on this board said the K&N website had the dynojets for something like $35. I couldn't find it!
  16. As far as I know, Theft guarantees only cover the cost of your insurance deductible. Not the car/bike. So, if you don't have theft coverage, you don't get any money from Clifford.
  17. It usually takes Cycle Gear about 20 mins per tire, every time I've been there. That's not bad. Although, it's about a half hour drive each way to get there.
  18. I've got over 1K on my 45/46's. Words can't describe how much I love these tires... Super grip, super handling, super feedback. No chicken strips. Although, going around a tight corner between Yarnell and Prescott two weekends ago, I hit a tar snake and slid the rear about three or five inches. Almost crapped my pants! But the tire regained traction and kept on rollin'.
  19. That's good info! I was tempted to cut my old rubber off myself, but then I found out Cycle Gear was really cheap for mount and balancing. At least now I know for next time, so I don't waste my time.
  20. Cycle Gear, out here in AZ does mount/balance for $11.99 per tire. That's the best I've ever seen! When I lived in VA, I paid $31.50 per tire at my local Honda shop. Of course, these prices are for when you buy the tire from that shop. Cycle Gear charges somewhere around $25 per tire and Honda of Norfolk charges $45 per tire when you bring in your own tire. Call around, and see if you can find a good deal. The place I almost had do my tires wanted $75 per tire! Just because I was buying the tires somewhere else. I don't want to give away which dealer this is because they may lose a sale, but I'll give ya a hint: It starts with an "A"... and ends with "rizona Motorsports." (BTW: I strongly recommend not buying from AZ Motorsports. Nothing! No bikes, no parts, not even fluids! They suck. Long story, that I'd be glad to share someother time.) Just remember, just because it's cheap, doesn't mean they'll do a good job! Anyone from around where Joe lives know of a good shop??
