  1. $1350. gets you all new plastic from Ron Ayers.
  2. The linked brakes were supposed to help reduce dive when braking, any noticable change in dive when braking? An significant reduction in hardware by delinking?
  3. Did you include the shipping fee?
  4. Use high temp silicone seal. That's what Buell uses to seal the slip joints.
  5. I've got Rennsports on order. I may try the pilot race tires when the weather warms up. At last months trackday the first couple session were in 40-50 degrees ambient. A lot of guys on race tires went down early in the day.
  6. Would they let me do a trackday in Sandals and Levi's? Cause I don't own "gear" With sandals and Levi's bout all you'll be able to do is be my umbrella boy. But if you need gear, I've got extra gear. Only condition, you shit em you buy em.
  7. Armor-all for better traction.... (I always give my best advice to liberals) :poke: XNIKX, I invite to join me at a trackday for more liberating experiences. Here's something for your nightstand: http://www.hart-photography.com/MotorSport...ages/p0011.html
  8. I also do my own tire changing and balance. Only way to go except when to many "Buds" find out you've got the equipment.
  9. Is a race license required to purchase these tires or just to get a discount? The Rennsports sound like the ticket. Who's got the best prices. thanks again
  10. Penske charges $75 to rebuild a shock. Usually 2 week turn around.
  11. I'm getting to the point where I'm pushing the cornering limits of my Bird at trackdays. I've been running Diablo Corsas without incident, but I'd like to increase my margin of safety. What's a good DOT race tire for trackdays? Something with good stick, heats up relatively fast, can take some heat cycles, I don't care about wet weather performance. advice is appreciated
  12. Oil light coming on  . You may have clutch disk parts floating around in the engine oil plugging the oil pump inlet screen etc. If that's the case, major cleanup of the crank and gearcase internals will be required. If cleanup is required, have the tech explain how he plans to clean do it and post it here for comment.

Just did a trackday with Diablo Corsas. Turned well and stuck like paint, by the end of the day they were scrubbing like race spec tires. I run them on the street, get 3k+ mile on the rear, 6k+ on front.
  14. I've gone through 40k miles worth of Pilot Sports and Diablos and have only noticed head shake on cupped tires. As suggested, get the front wheel elevated and check for runout. The shop may have bent your rim or disk when mouting the tire or the tire isn't seated right.
  15. Make sure your front axle nut is tight. Loosen the fork axle clamp on the axle nut side and tighten the nut to spec and retighten the fork axle clamp.
