Cost?

thanks seems the road is the choice for the rear. now for the front. do the roads up front last long enough to burn two rears to one front < i assume i will still get 4-5k miles out of the rear>? for the guys that mix the power and roads when you change out the rear what is generally left of the power front when the rear is cooked? My thinking is, if im not going to get two rears to every front with the roads i might as well put a power up front. With the stones 020 i think the front tire would go another rear but i just don't like the tire enough to keep it.

I have a set of bridgestone020 on the bike that are worn out < 4000miles> rear tire not drag racing. I think the motor would just rip them up as they aren't that sticky. They never felt sure footed on this bike. I run a bird with hard bags i guess i run aggressive street pace, not race pace. Pilot roads or powers, I would like to get more then 4000 miles out of tires but i don't want them sliding in the corners. I generally don't late apex. Best guess welcome on what i should get.

Ok, i run low gears and am often at red line and frequent blasts into triple digits. Crooked county roads around me sounds lots of full throttle up and down the gearbox. probally a dirty air filter as the bike has 12k miles on it. fuel injected 2002 version stock pipes no power commander. Does that sound like something is wrong with the bike for a ham fisted rider. short rides of around fourty miles recently. Bike feels like its running well.

My goal is not to have to buy new clothes. I put on one of my suits the other day and it was a bit snug < ok quite a bit> and I really don't want to start replacing. Everything else that dropping twenty does is just gravy. I figure i will try to drop 25 and then bounce back five when i start eating all my favorites again. If i have to do the atkins thing once a year for three weeks that will be fine by me. I have to be careful not to get to healthy as my retirement plan sucks and I am targeting death for a one year after i stop working. If i hit the lottery i will then work on improving my lifespan.

Good job on taking steps to better health. What is your exercise program? My exercise program? Well first i sit on the couch a bit and smoke a cig or two to get the heart pumping. Followed by sitting in the car and driving as i drink a coffee. Then I go to the office and sit at my desk for the next 8 hours, occasionally stopping for coffee or a smoke. After that i do another lap home in the car but no coffee this trip just a smoke. Then i go back for another couple of hours on the couch before laying down in bed for the night. Once the snow clears i will take the bike more often then the car. I make sure to stretch thoughly each day to avoid injury from rigorous daily routine.

I started two and a half weeks ago. Doing the atkins thing and so far down ten pounds. Another 15 to go and I will be happy. I figure i will do atkins for 6 weeks and see where I am.

I'm confused. Why do they need to be shimed? Does the shim go between the bulb and the headlight housing or between the bulb and the wire cage that holds the bulb in place. How does this effect the tabs fiting in the grove to install headlight bulbs. Is it because the bulbs need to be thicker. I'm interested in getting some but it seems to be a pain in the ass.
