I have seen mixed feeling about the cheep plastic on good old Flee-bay for about 500 clams. For the job (not perfect) some say not so bad but then again others just think it is just crap. I guess you just have to roll the dice and risk it all.

For me and I am far from a bike whore would question a bike that is ten years old with such low miles. One would be is like why in the hell did you not drive it. Then you question same tire as when you bought it, did it sit with fluid in it for years on end, etc. I rather by a bike with miles on it because 9 times out of ten rider tend to take proper care of their bike. Oh sorry for the thread jack:) Nice bike.

+1 I for one if you where a bit closer and had a buyer for mine I would think about it. Looks very clean with the two pictures that show the bike.

Is there calcium buildup on the lower heat element? True what was siad if you can't fix it your self most time it is cheaper just to buy new(the american way) I did the same on a 9 year old tank-tank fine but need a new thermo-over/flow and pilot. I could have fix myself but in the end i just bought a new larger tank that would save us more money and also gave me a reason to put a whole house filter and water softener in. I thought it would just save me the time and money in the long run and believe it or not sold it on craiglist for 15 bucks:)
