I pulled of the triple and found it bent. I ordered a new one.

Put bike together found rotor bent. 1999 to 2003 left rotors will work.

I will be needing a new triple clamp assembly and also a left front rotor. Got the triple need the left rotor.

That is another issue. My center stearing is off by two inces. I wonder if my triple is bent? How can I find out? I just put two new forks a nd a new axle on.

The hole in the fender is back too far. It wont line up with the shock unless I twist the fender

Putting new front forkes and fender on my wrecked bird. Everything fits but one bolt hole on the fender on the right fork. It is 3/16 off from were it needs to be?

From the information in other posts I will be switching to a synthetic oil,

I am considering a different oil. I have been using Bel Ray. Any sugestions?

Can I use an older R/R on my 2000. If so, how do I make it work?

Well gentlemen , and I mean that loosely, The problem was found. When I checked my plug wires I found that a wire was off of the coil for the two center cylinders. She sounds healthy now. Thanks for all of the direction in diagnoses. Hope to see some of you on the road some day.

I found that the two outside cylinder pipes got hotter than those on the inside.

If it is a throttle sensor I would get a fault code, right? When I put plugs on I checked to make sure that the boot was all the way on. It never did have good throttle response or power. Were is the fuel filter?

It has 33667 miles, some times it will stall at an idle. I have had to turn up the idle a few times.

Bought a very neglected 2000 bird this year. First thing I did was to change plugs and change oil,filters. The air filter was completely clogged, I do not know how it even ran! Since then I have put in a R/R ,battery and a new CCT. I noticed it was low in power and had poor throttle response. So today I filled her up with high test and allowed her to spread it's wings. At first she struggled to get 7500 RPM, the when it did it cut out. I kept trying to get above 8000 RPM until it would hold. It has cleared up and does not cut out but will only go 105 MPH at 8000 rpm in 6th gear. I am thinking it needs a valve adjustment. Any advice would help thanks.
