OK everyone,

From the CBRXX.com forum:

Sandsquidxx-large (42) jacket, 34 pants
tonyz-large jacket
HukitAK-XXL jacket, 40 pants
Kacbrxx-large jacket
fstallin- XL jacket, 40 pants
Other than those of you who have not committed to a size, the totals are under 50 men's jackets required for a custom production run.
HOWEVER
We are able to still get the right price from Linda Royer at MotorCity Powersports (248) 858-2300, on the production First Manufacturing jacket and pants.
I will include the back patch and back zipper in the box separately for the same prices as we discussed at the top of the thread. The quality of the stock production jackets, just as they are off- the- rack, will speak out for itself. The garments are exchangeable for size (as nlong as they are in new condition), freight prepaid.
Men's and Ladies jackets, up to XXL, $185.00 each + S&H (approximately $15.00/package (lower 48), whether you order the jacket alone or a combo). XXXL and larger jackets are $10.00 extra. The pants are $110.00 a pair (they already have a back zipper installed).
I have arranged for you to make payment directly to MotorCity Powersports via their Paypal account. I am not interested in handling any funds unless requested to. I am not making a dime or receiving any consideration for this transaction. Orders will be shipped ASAP. I am having my local embroidery shop make me the back patches. They are approximately 10 inches across and should fit all of the jacket sizes nicely. They will also fit on the bottom panel of the majority of the jacket sizes for those looking for that "tramp stamp" look. After all the orders are filled I will make the balance of the patches available to the rest of the membership, as I will need to order a quantity of at least 50 pieces for the best price (should be under $10.00), as long as supplies last.
To make sure that everyone's orders are handled as expeditiously as possible, I will ship the clothing from my warehouse, ASAP, along with the patches and zippers enclosed in the box.
You will have to either sew them on yourselves, or have them done at your local leather shop/tailor probably for about $10 or so each (if you ordered the pants, the bottom half of the zipper is already attached).
For all of you who committed to the GB, kindly PM me with your final orders. I will PM you back with the payment information and keep a log of your order.
Anyone inclined to add to this order (ladies jacket perhaps?) or join in the deal, feel free to do so at this time.
Thank you all, in advance, for your patience and consideration!

sounds like an opportunity for a group buy i could use a total bike gold anodized set for rhonda 2 windsheild as well as fairing. you got your ears on dale :icon_think:
Oh, no, no, no, no.... whenever I can get around to doing another GB, it won't be these TastyNut Ti bolts... I am honor-bound to do the Pro-Oiler GB first. Fuck me running, I've only been trying to get to that for about 6 months now. It's been like a frickin' Greek tragic comedy, trying to find the free time to finally get to that one...
While they are EXCEPTIONALLY cool, the Ti bolts are not exactly inexpensive... example: looks like they are $39 from MotoWheels: Honda Ti windshield bolts
The Targa web site has XX windscreen aluminum buttonhead windscreen fasteners (pack of 6) for $11, and come in a bunch of anodized colors... but they look kinda odd/out of place, and a little cheap (personal opinion).
More importantly, the aluminum fasteners don't add 4 hp to the rear wheel like the Ti bolts do...
do they come with the bug guts or is that extra charge?? :icon_shifty:

ST1300 = 12,000 miles or more.
Harley = 20,000
it's amazing the mileage you can get when you have the bike on a trailer

That's GREAT.........that you found it.
Give them a piece of your mind.
When you pay dealer prices for service, you are paying premium prices for premium service......which you sure as hell didn't get. Don't get me started.
you would think since honda makes the most dependable motorcycles, snowblowers, etc their service departments would be above reproach. after my trip off az 191 i took my bird to davis honda in montrose. i told them" i didn't care about the cosmetics just make sure it was mechanically sound" they replaced all the plastics but didn't catch the obviously bent forks. after involute showing me how to replace a rear wheel at tbme :icon_think: i think im going to start doing more of my own maintanence!!!!

i don't really think there is any difference between the name brand gas and the inexpensive gas, except lining the pockets of the big gas companies that have been taking advantage of rule #8. one time many years ago i followed one of those gas delivery trucks and it stopped at two major brand stations and one cheap station. i've always put cheap gas in my sports cars and in my motorcycles with no problems. :icon_snooty: also my bird runs better on regular than it did when i thought it needed premium

i cover all the scratches on my 99 with a magnetic tank bag that put the scratches there in the first place :icon_duh:

I noticed a puddle of oil under my bike last week and started to look for the leak, at first it looked like the gasket between the top half and lower half of the motor. After further inspection I noticed it was coming out of the weep hole under the exhaust manifold just a 1/4" above the gasket. If sitting on the bike it is the one farthest to the right. I looked at the service manual and contacted my dealer and neither showed an oil line in that area of the motor. Also neither new what the weep holes are their for, there is one under each exhaust port. the oil is not pressurized (meaning it is not squirting out), but after a few minutes of idle a steady stream runs out. If anyone has had this problem please let me know the remedy.
Thanx, jamie
this happened to me last fall on a trip to phoenix i parked next to a hardly in flagstaff and when i got outside prescott and stopped for gas i had a puddle but still had plenty of oil when i checked it. in phoenix i took it to a honda dealer in scottsdale and they ended up replacing the valve gasket. moral:: don't park next to hardlies. :icon_nono:
