    De-linked

Sure do, but I'm not sure how to post the pics directly to the site.

    De-linked

Pace, I recently installed Seb's EVO-3 de-linking kit with the machined caliper pieces and I also replaced the front master cylinder with one direct from Japan. When I get home I'll send you the part numbers for the that and the new lever. The guy you'll deal with is Toru, and he is a top notch guy. I recommend upgrading to the larger bore, and it only cost around $156 for master, lever, and shipping. Super fast turn around time too. Seb is a really helpful guy to deal with and the kit is really first class and comprehensive, but did you notice that the front lines had almost too much slack? Did you have any problems properly routing the lines? Maybe I'm just a little too anal. I think I'll order the VFR bars just to accomodate the excess. Seb mentioned to me that the Nissin Blackbird front calipers had a casting fault in the threads for the bleeder screw. Did you have a problem with the screws pissing a little brake fluid? -Colin
  3. Pace, IMO the GenMar risers offer a decent increase in comfort. I noticed the difference right away, and I would recommend them to someone who wanted a super easy mod. -Colin
  4. Anybody know if the clutch master cylinder is 1/2" or 5/8"? Thanks, Colin
  5. It's fixed!!! Now I can choke my 'Bird!!!
  6. If you are sitting on the bike, the choke cable comes out from the left grip housing, past the front of the left fork tube, under the top clamp, into a hole in the frame right in front of the gas tank, and then straight back to the carbs. Maybe there's a channel on the bottom of the airbox for the cable? I recently took the tank and airbox off, so it's possible that I screwed up. Colin
  7. I just put a set of GenMar risers on the XX. Whenever it goes to full right lock, the choke cable gets pulled and engages the choke. I think that if I re-route the cable behind the left fork, maybe there'll be enough slack. Has anyone else had this same problem? Does the choke cable need to be replaced with a longer one? Thanks, Colin
  8. On a similar note, I've seen the Galfer stainless steel front brake line kit for sale at several different online stores. It's only ~ $100, so I figure it doesn't de-link the front from the back. So, my question is if anybody knows if the Galfer kit replaces the OEM fronts line for line, or if it just replaces the upper hose? Thanks, Colin
  9. XX Rated, I'll pull the tank and take a look. One question though...if an air inlets has become dislodged or if the air filter skirt is not fully seated, wouldn't there be other symptoms such as a hanging idle or other whacky throttle response due to the extra lean condition? Thanks, Colin
  10. Thanks for the replies. I have a feeling that this board is going to be a great resource as I tinker with the 'Bird. I'm glad that the K&N is the source of the noise. On my Bandit I replaced the airbox with individual pod filters. Talk about noisy. bar10dah, I was on the Maximum-Suzuki board. What's "Topica"
  11. Hello all, This is my first post on this forum. I recently moved from a Suzuki Bandit to a CBR1100XX. First thing I did was install a Factory Pro Stage 1 jet kit and K&N air filter. I can swear now that there's more intake noise coming from the airbox because of the K&N. Is this normal, or maybe I didn't install it properly? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks, Colin
