  1. It actually fit very well without being too constrictive. I am about a size 4-6 at 5'5'' and 128 lbs. and I imagine this would go as far as a size 8-10. The only drawbacks were the lack of a zipper in the back (to zip to pants), (which I believe was brought up earlier in the thread (?)) and the lack of a good back pad. It's got lots of ventilation, which I absolutely love. It's just a great jacket IMO all the way around. What size is the one your wearing? It's a small. Sorry if I'm not responding quickly, I'm packing to move and checking messages in between boxes and screaming kids.

  3. I just discovered one more little plus to this jacket....STORAGE!!!
  4. I'm wearing clothes with it, so don't get any ideas... :icon_lmao: Not much of me in 'em, because my oldest was starting to irritate me. The last 3 are without armor, then the rest with armor installed. There's a double ended zipper so you can switch between unzipped cuffs and vented wrists. The liner snaps in and overall, it is a very nice jacket. There IS room for the girls, ladies. I'm an A and it's loose enough to fit maybe a D or DD fairly comfortably (I did have boobs twice in my life... ) Great job on these Al!! I may end up just buying this puppy!! Ok, ladies...time to make them menfolk get you one!!
  5. Ok, I got the jacket today. As soon as I have someone to wield the camera, I will post pics. You just keep waitin' Hobie... :icon_lmao:
  6. I'll get pics up as soon as it gets here. Just to help out the ladies who are better endowed than me, I'll try to get a bigger busted friend to try it on as well and take a pic of her too (no, not NWS photos!). :icon_lmao:
  7. Thanks for the honorable mention, but please don't give me any credit for this...I just posted a link from another site. I'm glad to see a good group buy come together out of it though, and you and lensmanxx (and anyone else who helped) should take the full credit, as you've definitely went way above the call of duty on this entire thing from start to finish. Great job guys!!
  8. 2k-ish... I've found a few things that just need cosmetic work, but they're too far away. I might just wait a bit. Maybe I'll find that "dream deal" if I'm patient. I don't want a new one or one that's pristine...I'll probably drop it anyway, so if it's got a few dings already I won't feel so bad about it.
  9. Thanks for the info guys. Been there done that with checking the dealers and craigslist....my credit is shot to hell thanks to my ex, so I can't finance. Only got about 2k to spend, give or take 5 bills. Don't want a new one, since I'll probly drop it at least once during the learning process. Besides that, I don't want another note...the Suby is enough. I just want a cheapie older bike that's been well loved (Hobi, watch your mind!). If it's all scratched up that's fine, so long as the body work can be fairly easily done in the garage (yeah, I'm doing it). As long as there's no frame or other major damage, it's all good.
  10. I'm tired of riding the 80 and I've got some cash stashed back. Looking for a Ninja 500, SV650 or something similar. A 250 doesn't feel right, but I'll consider it to start with. I'm in upstate NY, but I'll drive within a few hours if need be. (Yes Hobi, I'm freezing my a$$ off... )
  11. As much as I'd like it, TN is too far. I just made that trip moving to NY. I hope you find a buyer soon.
  12. That logo would look good on the back of the "Batman" jacket...hmmmmmm...
  13. The clutch plate is cupped.... You guys are slipping!! :icon_lmao:
  14. If that's a bird, check your cush drive, too.... We changed ours before we sold the bird because of rattling and chain lash. If you've never changed it, it might be worth checking out since you have quite a few miles on the bike. Just a thought.

    Grip Tip

soapy water works good too...it's sticky when it dries, and the grips stay on. We did that with the bird right before NEXXT.
  16. Funny...the last time that happened to me (timer worked, but no dry-dry), I asked the ex to double check the breaker in case it was half-tripped....but NO...would he do it? God forbid a woman MIGHT HAVE A HALFWAY INTELLIGENT HYPOTHESIS!!! After getting another dryer, IT DID THE SAME THING! He got pissed when I went and shut the breaker off, let it sit a second, flipped it back on, and started drying laundry. He never lived that down... The old dryer still worked just fine. Oh, if you have a front-loading Maytag Neptune washer(2003-4 model?), watch the net for wax-motor recalls. They overheat and cause the boards to short-circuit.
  17. I have pictures of that, too...going to the highest bidder!! :icon_lmao: (I just HAD to...LOL)
  18. Gene, whassup??? Good to see you on here. Welcome to the madness of fucktard central.
  19. So.... will this person still be your friend when the car blows up? Guess it won't matter since you'll have moved, huh? She aint buyin without a full rundown on the car. You know I ain't like that sugarplum...
  20. LOL...do you honestly think I take any of you seriously?? NOT! :icon_lmao: I ended up selling to a friend. Didn't know her hubby needed a car till I saw her at the bar Saturday. Worked out good for both of us.
