Hi,
I recently bought a 2000 xx with 27k km, and am now up to 30k km. I notice when I come off the throttle in 6th at hiway speeds a slight shake in the handlebars when I take my hands off while decellerating (RPMS 4000 - 3500) it doesnt occur at higher speeds/rpm nor at lower. What could the culprits be? Front suspension, head bearing, tire, wheel weights/balance? or is this normal? front tire is a 220 with 8k km run at 42 psi cold (heavy rider).
this is the only time the bike doesn't feel rock solid on the road, and even with the shake tracks very true.
I changed the rear to a metz z6 2k ago, and was hoping to get enough mileage on the front to change over to a complete pilot power setup next summer, but now I am thinking about throwing a matching z6 front to see if this helps.
