  1. NICE! Have you ridden the bike yet?
  2. Absolutely. Go get some new rubber. And welcome. +1
  3. +1 +2 How do you stay away from food? You eat less. I have 5 meals a day. Breakfast at 8 and lunch at 11. Apple at 2 and dinner at 5. Then another apple at 9 Apple has a lot of fibre, water and nutrition for you. And I move my heavy but out of the chair and exercise 1 hour every day. I've lost 50.5 pounds in two months. But you have to have motivation. If not there is no reason to start. Eat less and read the labels of what you buy counting calories.
  4. This is how I felt last year. I couldn't stop to filling up the pie hole. But at Christmas last year I was so heavy and big that riding a blackbird would almost be impossible. I gained 18 LBS from end of summer till New Year. That did it for me. 40 years old and almost not able to wipe my own ass. Now I'm looking forward to ride the Bird weighting below 275 LBS. Never done that before. And to drive it at 198 LBS in August this year (I hope) is a very exiting thought. 125 LBS less baggage than last year will be like a new turbo I'm 1/3 on the way to my goal. Walking an hour 3-4 times a week will do wonders.
  5. Looking good Matt. :icon_thumbsup: Are going for a projector or a big LCD/plasma TV? Ruth says no way to a new set. As long we have a good working TV no new flatscreen is coming in. I’m waiting for a thunderstorm that fucks up my TV so I can buy a new Sony 52 LCD.
  6. Ha Ha I do like the look of them but at the moment the West Aus PoPo are red hot on undertail's and fender eliminators and are handing out yellow stickers (defect notices) to any bike they find that doesn't have a stock type rear fender :icon_wall: Apparently the Aus Design Rules state the rear fender must come down past some imaginary point drawn 45 degrees from the axle :icon_wall: :icon_think: Just another revenue raiser :icon_nono: :icon_duh: I thought it would be better when you got John Howard out of the office
  7. Really................................................... Was the picture before or after.... you switched tire Brands.... ? Is this the short version of the "Bird" ?
  8. Looks like a 2006-2008 in Iron Nail Silver and no the reservoirs aren't polished the later bikes came with Silver/Grey paint instead of Black like the early ones Bullseye.....
  9. You have checked the petcock diaphragm ? A small hole in it would fuck things up for you.
  10. Don't throttle to hard on the first ride. You get what you wished for and then some more I've never had any problem with stator or CCT, but R/R did break down. My mistake, I let the bike idle too long. The OEM R/R doesn't have cooling ribs and will overheat at prolonged idle.
  11. I've used Dunlop last 8 years. Looks like roadsmart will be the next one :icon_thumbsup: http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.co.uk/tyres/ra...dial/roadSmart/

  17. You'll find the petcock diaphragm. This one helped me.
  18. I'm interested. Do you have paypal? I have a 1997 and a 2005 XX. Does it fit both?
  19. To bad this post isn't in the PUB. It would be another epic thread...
