I thought I had it sold for about $6250 but the person bought an older/less expensive Bird so since I am moving into a condo in early March I will entertain offers around that price to make it easier for me. I may be biased but this is a great Bird for a great price - it would cost thousands more to duplicate.

EK Quadra X ring 530 ZVX2 Chain and Front & Rear Sprockets
BobZ replied to BobZ's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
A guy who I thought was buying my bike bought another so for right now I am not sure whether to include them with the bike or sell them on their own. But if someone wants them for $225 shipped let me know. -

The chain is in fact a 120 link and the side plates are gold. -

I might...maybe someone will want just the sprockets and if so they can post here or contact me. But ideally I would like to sell them all together. In the meantime I will check on the size and color. -
Several people have asked about the price so to save time and to let everyone know where I am at I would like to get $6500, which I think is more than fair considering that it is a unique, low mileage Bird that runs perfectly and needs nothing.

WTB: Blackbird with Hard Bags...
BobZ replied to mag-moto's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
Couldn't you just buy a Bird without bags and then buy the bags for it? From what I have seen a lot of the Birds for sale do not have bags so you may be limiting what you'd consider. -
Me too...I think someone who frequents the board will appreciate it! By the way, I found a box in my garage with a brand new DID chain and new front & sprockets that I will include with the bike; the ones on the bike now are perfect.

WTB: R and L front turn signal lens
BobZ replied to advrider's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
So all you need are the amber lenses and not the stalks, etc.? -
Offered for sale is my 2003 Super Blackbird with about 11,400 miles. I bought it a few months ago from the original owner with about 10,450 miles. The bike needs nothing - it runs perfectly and I had all of the fluids (Amsoil 10/40 oil, Amsoil brakes & clutch fluid & Honda extened life Blue radiator fluid) changed at 10,490 miles in September 2011. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition except for a few tiny stone nicks on the front fender; contact me for more pics. The price is $5,750 (lowered from $7000). Here are a list of the extras/modifications: Custom Painted (based on 2007 VFR special edition with HRC colors) Ti-Force titanium full exhaust Manic Salamander throttle lock & Grip Puppies Givi windscreen Buell foot pegs, which are lower than stock Mototech LED tail Power Commander III & dyno tuned on Premium gas (PAIR system removed) LSL bars for a more upright riding position; Formotion thermometer & mounting bracket included Corbin Smuggler seat Clear Alternative front turn signal lenses Stainless braided Brake & Clutch lines K&N air filter (serviced when fluids changed) D&D chain in perfect condition White wheel tape Battery trickle charger/tender Recent battery (installed just before I bought it) New Michelin Pilot Road II rear tire installed about 500 miles ago Also included are 2 almost new outdoor covers and 1 interior dust cover, 3 unopened gallons of Amsoil 10/40 synthetic oil, 1 gallon of Honda coolant, 1 pint of Amsoil DOT 4 brake fluid, and a new Michelin Pilot Road II front tire (not yet needed). If the buyer is interested I will include a size large HJC carbon helmet, a size large leather jacket with a CBRXX patch on the back, and a pair of deeskin gauntlet gloves, which are all in excellent condition. I never thought I would sell it so soon (I sold a 2002 Blackbird to buy this one) but a worsening medical problem is making it more difficult to ride and enjoy. The bike is garaged/covered on the battery tender at my home in Palm Coast FL. Feel free to send me a PM if you have questions or want pics of anything specific. Thanks...Bob Z.

Thanks again all. I just need to touch up a few spots on the front fender with the Blue; I can probably get by with a generic tube of White & Red from Wal-mart for a couple other tiny places since those colors look pretty basic. But the Blue is one that I want as close to what is on it now. Happy Holidays everyone...Bob Z.

Thanks...that is probably the place to buy it, and most likely less than a Honda dealer.

I started looking but did not see Red, White & Blue for 2006...must be a different year (?)
-
Ok, I did not get the paint codes since the painter no longer has them; however, they appear to be the colors from the 2006 VFR Special Edition - anyone know where I can get the paint codes from based on that?

He said $10k above.

Nice Bird indeed...almost as nice as the one I bought from Jake, which I added some goodies to! I suggest that you put a price on it, just as Jake did. Some said it was too high and others said it was worth it but you are the seller so it is up to you to decide what you will accept.

FS: 2003 XX, 10K miles, HRC Colors
BobZ replied to Furious's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
Thanks...Jake did a nice job putting it together, and I have added a few of my own personal touches...just waiting on some custom decals/emblems (and the paint codes!) and it will be done. -

BobZ replied to Furious's topic in The Sales Floor -- For Sale/Wanted
Nope, not yet. Jake said he was trying to get in touch with the painter but I have not heard back yet. I assume the paint codes came from a past Honda that used the same colors; however, after extensive searching online it seems that several used those colors and the codes are different. If I knew what year and bike they were used on I could find out. -

Hello all. Not only did I not get the paint codes for the 2003 HRC Bird I bought but I did not get the extra key (or the owners manual) - is there a certain key blank I should get for when I get a spare cut? I looked on fleabay and there are several different kinds. Or maybe has one they'd sell me?
-
I'll keep searching. I know nothing about the Hummer - that pic was sent to me by Jake so it must be his.

Hello all. I have been trying to get the paint codes for my Bird, which I bought from Furious (Jake) a couple months ago; I have not been able to reach him and I need to touch-up some chips here & there. Can anyone help? I searched online and it seems that the codes are different for the Red, White & Blue used depending on the year/model. Here is a pic if it helps:

Silly question but can you run the mounting bracket behind the license plate bracket? Or do you even need the rear bracket...will just the side brackets that hold the bags suffice?
