  1. SALE PENDING (to John H. in St. Louis)
  2. Thanks all...I was bombarded with PMs! I will contact the potential buyer and see what he wants to do and get back to everyone in the order I got their messages.
  3. I relisted it on ebay with a lower reserve from the last time...got a few questions so maybe it will sell this time - I'll make a good deal to anyone here either way!
  4. Does anyone have one? Someone who seems very interested in buying my bike wants a seat for two vice the Corbin Smuggler I have on it now. I told him they can be found cheap, or that he could possibly trade the Corbin for a 2-person Corbin or other aftermarket seat. Thanks in advance...Bob Z., Palm Coast FL
  5. All items SOLD (or spoken for).
  6. I feel you pain...I have my 2003 Bird listed for a while now but with Spring just around the corner I expect to have more interest soon - the best to you on your sale!
  7. So, do I have to ground it or anything? It is fine now but since I just moved to a condo and cannot plug it into the battery tender I am thinking of pulling it out of the bike and keeping it charged in the house until the bike sells.
  8. I just found a 4th gallon of Amsoil so I will throw that it in and make it an even $100 for all the fluids. I am checking on shipping it all for someone but suspect that it will not be cost effective. If someone wants one of the covers let me know and I will make them a deal - my wife is not too keen on having them in the condo. And I dropped the price/updated the ad for my 2003 Bird (Red, White & Blue one) to $5750, and re-listed it on ebay.
  9. Shipping of the fluids will probably cost so much that it would not be worth it for someone.
  10. I have some items for the Blackbird that I am selling: 3 pairs of new in the package EBC brake pads AND a new X-11 CCT, which is very hard to find and is the upgrade to the Green Double Dot CCT: $100 for all shipped in the US. SOLD 2 almost new outdoor covers (A Guardian Weatherall Size XL item# 50004-03 & an Ultraguard part# 911-076 with storage bags; they were tried once by the people who originally bought them and they did not fit their bikes. I tried them both on the Blackbird and they fit great and they have not been used: $40 each shipped in the US (or $75 both shipped if you want them both). SOLD Nice hard cover service manual (no missing pages, no oil stains, etc.): $25 shipped in the US. SOLD These items are mostly directed to local buyers due to shipping these; I live in Palm Coast FL, which is about half way between Jacksonville & Daytona Beach: 4 unopened gallons of Amsoil 10/40 full synthetic oil, 1 unopened pint of Amsoil full synthetic DOT 4 brake fluid, & 1 gallon of Honda Blue Extended Life coolant: $100 SOLD Thanks for looking...Bob Z.
  11. Thanks, and it actually looks nicer in person...the low-res pics do not do it justice - I think that once someone sees it in person they will be buy it.
  12. I agree...it is too nice to give it away and it will be safe & sound covered in the garage until the right person comes along.
  13. The high bidder contacted me and offered me $3200 cash...what a joke! A couple other bidders also contacted me but none have made offers thus far. But I was thinking the same thing about waiting a month or so - when the weather breaks more people may be looking for a unique Bird!
  14. It came up short of the $6k reserve price so I will see if I get any offers this week before I consider re-listing it, or waiting until the weather breaks and more people start looking for a Bird!
  15. The ebay auction ends this evening - if it does not sell and someone is interested get back to me and maybe a deal can be made.
  16. Not a big deal but I found an unopened gallon of Honda Extended Life Blue coolant, which I will also include along with all of the extras.
  17. Have to tried selling it outright? There are a lot of nice Birds for sale now and it might be easier to get one that way.
  18. The bike is now on ebay so if someone is interested you can contact me via a PM here if need be since I cannot access ebay during the day to get messages: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-Honda-...=item2ebb60cc4c
  19. Almost forgot: I will include a size large HJC carbon fiber full face helmet, a size large leather jacket with a CBRXX patch on the back, and few pairs of gloves for different seasons; all are in excellent condition.
  20. I had a person offer me $6k for the bike and I declined, and he bought another Bird, which in hindsight was probably not smart on my part....$250 is not alot. So, I have decided to advertise it now for $6k firm - based on other Birds that are for sale this is a great price for a unique Bird with a lot of extras.
  21. If you ride once a week, why would you put a tender on it? It will be fine. Force of habit I guess...it only takes a second to plug it in. But thanks all, it sounds like it should be fine.
  22. In about a month I am moving into a condo and while it has underground/enclosed parking there will not be anywhere for me to plug in the bike's battery tender. So, about how long will the battery last without riding it? I expect to ride it at least once a week until it sells and since the battery is less than 6 months old I would think it should be fine...thoughts?
