I'm reluctantly backing out due to the fact I have not yet found a bike to sit on it with.

I've had a 97', 00' and an 03'. I don't like silver and I've always thought that the red bird was a beautiful bike but the opportunity was never there. This time I'll hold out for one. I hurriedly sold my 03' back in Oct. as a result of a job transfer I could not turn down and I got nowhere near top dollar. I still cringe everytime I think about it. $5100.00 was the best E-bay could produce in the month of October in the state of CT for an 03' in near mint condition. The bike had 8400K, Stradas front and rear with less than 500mi, Scorpio alarm w/proximity sensor, Dowco cover, Corbin G&L, Dave's brackets, Genmar risers, BMW sport grips, and Puig screen to name a few of the upgrades. I thought I had gotten a helluva deal when I bought the bike almost a year prior for 5500.00 with 0 add-ons. Anyhow, I've got nothing to sell this time around so I'll give it a rest and get back on point. I'm in Hawaii now finishing up the contract I started back in Oct and I soon will have all the freedom in the world. I've taken the next month off and my sole purpose right now is to find a suitable bird on the mainland.

2003 Honda CBR1100XX 9950 org. miles all maintenance up to date. Brand new Diablo Stradas. Bike is in excellent condition. Only flaw is some light scuffs on bottom of L/H mirror where rubbed against side of house and a scrape on Stator cover. Bike has not been down. Bike can be seen in pics of my other F/S items. Keep in mind bike will be returned to near stock...the only mods I will not be removing are the Scorpio alarm w/proximity sensor, Dave's lowering brackets, Genmar risers, and BMW sport grips. Everything purchased new by me and installed within the year. Looking for a quick sale...job's taking me to Hawaii on the 29th of the month. Priced right at $6000.00. Clean title in hand.

Seems to be a bit on the optomistic side...all things considered. I'd go 3500.00 for such a bike. Take a look at E-bay's completed listings and see what the rest of the country seems to think a similar bike is worth. KBB is inconsistent at best.
