Hey OrganDonor, did you ever happen to run across your old backrest? Plus, I like the trade idea, you wouldn't happen to need a good stock seat or some new clip-ons would you???

I'm still looking for a used backrest that will fit the back of my Corbin seat, all black preferred... Anyone, anyone.... Matt

I have both the Left and Right Clip On Handlebars for a 2003 CBR1100XX. They are Factory New and still in the Honda bag (stock Number #53100-MCM-D00 and ##53150-MCM-D00.) I'm sure these clip-ons will fit other years models. I heard the VFR guys like these also. Make me a fair offer...

I have OEM Stock Seat in great shape that came off my 2003 XX, but I believe it will fit any 1997 - 2003 BLACKBIRD out there. Make me a fair offer & its yours.

If your corbin back-rest is the kind that slides into the square hold in the back of the seat I could sure use that to keep my 8 year old son in place & not flying off the back of my bike

Nice write-up... Like most of us here I love riding! When I met my wife 6 years ago i picked her up on my XX for our first date and she was hooked. Last year my wife made a few comments about how fun she thought it would be to have her own bike, and she pointed out we wouldn’t be stuck at home on the weekends if she had one because I could throw my son on the back with me. Sooooo I bought her a Ninja 250 and after a entire summer (2500 miles) she now up to highway speed………… We did take a couple weekend trips (250 miles) and both of them loved it. BUT I did get a little scared one time last summer when my boy fell asleep while on the back with me………….. In other words, does your Corbin have a square hole at the back under the little flap? My Corbin does have the little square hole/shaft under the little flap in the back. I will go and look at ebay now & see what they got.

Anyone have a Backrest that will fit the back of a Corbin seat they want to get rid of at a fair price? I want to take my 8 year-old with me this summer and would feel better if I didn't have to worry about him falling off the back. Matt

I'm doing some spring cleaning in my garage and hoping the snow will hurry up and melt so I can actually get my XX out one of these days! :icon_wall: I have For Sale a 2003 CBR XX Stock Seat off my XX. A Corbin was bought for the XX when it was new so the seat is in great shape and was and barely used. $50.00 or make me an offer...

E, do the genmars go under the the VFR bars? Does anyone out there have a pic of this sit-up on the bike?

Good find JB4XX, I was wondering what the dealer was going to do with my old XX (dealer gave me $3500. on trade). After seeing the pics the dealer put on there web-site it looks like they put a few coats of wax on the bike & looking to make $1,462. :icon_think:

I just sold my "XX" and I have a (medium tint) windshield that came on the 1997 Blackbird when I bought it. I replaced the windshield with a bigger one about a year after I bought the bike so I would say the shield is still in good shape. I just took a pic for you to look at below. So the first $20.00, plus shipping and it yours.

I just sold my "XX" and I never got around to installing a brand new, un-opened, "CCT" Cam Chain tensioner I had bought from "Johns Bike Bits" from his on-line store for $41.95 with shipping. What did you give for the Corbin, I looked at their website and it looks like the seat they offer comes in two parts and you have to buy both? As far as the handle bar height it seems fine so far, but I drove it home...so time will tell.

They sure do... that's why I bought one. His bike, however, is blue. Organ Donor, you have a Conn 1400 also, what year? Did you buy a new seat for it yet? I would also like to mount a GPS on the handle bars, cruise control, etc...any ideas? I will take any tips you may have for a new owner...
