Cheers Guys...
Firstly some technical questions;
The oil I'm currently running is 5W-30 fully synthetic, it's due a change so I'll give the grade you guys recommended a go.
Someone mentioned a company called MRE, where can I find out more information about them? Do they sell in the UK?
Now a bit about the car...
It is a OMS 96CF built by Steve Owen in 1996. Steve is the guy who owns OMS racing which builds and sells an assorment of hill climb and circuit cars, I think someone does race one in the US somewhere. Our care is a half carbon half aluminium honeycomb tub with the normal independant racing suspension, wings, AP 4 pot brakes and a lovely set of magnesium race wheels shod with cross ply hill climb grade rubber. The XX engine is mated to a quaife LSD that handles the traction very impressively.
If you want to see it have a look here are some photo's of my fiance and I racing..
