My daughter just got her motorcycle license so I'm looking to free up some $$ to get her a bike of her own, therefore selling my 1998 CBR1100XX . black, 23k miles, HID low beam, immitation Pazzo's, V+H exhaust, dynojet, K+N, Givi screen. Within the last 1000 miles, chain and sprockets, plugs, oil change, front and rear pads, cam chain tensioner, stator, Regulator rectifier, everything that is ever a minor issue with these bikes has been taken care of. Looking for $4000 or best , willing to trade toward a smaller bike for her.

Thanks for that link, you indirectly solved a problem for me. I've wanted a dip station for awhile now and I found some handles at your link that mount right on my cage. From there I went price shopping and found an even better idea on a forum discussing the aforementioned dip handles- two bars (which I already have) set across the stops on the cage at the appropriate height, done. I now have a nice dip station without a dime spent. Where's the shoulder work? Throw in some sets of militarys with dumbells if you must but the heavy bench gets it all.

day 1-Bench, 5 x 5 heavy as you can, heavy flies 3 x 8 heavy as you can day 2 -rest day 3 -close grip bench 5x5 heavy, dips with weight added heavy as possible or press downs 3x8 day 4 -rest day 5 -deadlifts 5x5, squats 5x5, single arm rows 5x5 day 6-rest day 7 -bench, heavy flies...... only 3 minutes of rest between each set. repeat the schedule add 5 pounds every workout ONLY if you can repeat all sets. make each rep count as if your life depends on it. All are multi joint movements and all you need to add mass and strength. Body weight excercises require nothing but yourself. Pushups, squats, planks, dips on a chair etc. Have a kid sit on your back during pushups. Modified pushups work everything. Try thios one: Lockout at the top of a pushup position for 30 seconds, SLOWLY take 30 seconds to go to the floor, SLOWLY 30 more to come back up, SLOWLY 30 more to go back to the floor, then push up again to completion. It will work every muscle you have, try to complete one and tell me your results.

Damn!! If they were all black they'd be on their way to R.I.

Maybe I'm totally off base with this offer considering what you are interested in buying next ....but.....any interest in a trade for my '98 XX plus $2,000? All the tapeworks graphics have been removed. 23k miles, jet kit and dual V+H exhaust. PO installed a stator, R/R and CCT just prior to my purchasing it as preventive measures.

I'll polish it up tomorrow and send along a pic if you want to pm me an emai addy. Thanks for the offer and the tip, I'm going to go for the Givi trade instead. I have a Givi top box and two mounting plates, as well as a set of mounts for a VFR. I'm going to try to make a setup to have the box either behind a solo rider or a rider and passenger.

The stock windshield is on the bike now. My previous XX had a Givi and it worked well, just wondering if anyone had an aftermarket tall or double bubble for sale.

Looking for a taller windshield for my newly aquired XX, doesn't need to be perfect just to keep off some of the spring and fall chill. Riding the 'Wing all winter anyway. Thanks

The exhaust tips don't do it, I drilled the exhaust. You remove the tips and attach the Dial-A-Tone to it. The best way to describe the system is that it's simply a donut shaped piece of sheet metal. You attach it, with the hole of the donut sliding over the stock exhaust opening. The metal piece has holes drilled through it, like the top of a grated cheese container. There are holes in it, and you drill matching holes into the rear of the can. Once drilled, you can rotate the metal cover to open the can's hole all the way, close them completely, or some where in between. The company that makes the Pak-It-Rak produce them. They don't advertise them, but you can email them directly and they'll sell you a kit. I ended up leaving the whole kit wide open, so you could just drill out the cans to get the same sound I have.Found it here. Thanks Ben good luck with the sale.
