  1. Now you tell me this. I just finished the non-stick liner installation on the intake ducts,,,,,, and I already bought 5 cases of Aquanet from ebay to fuel this adventure. Now I've got enough hair spray to have "high Hair" days for the next 28 years,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, provided I have hair then at least. OH YA!!!!!!!! i never thought of hair spray, especially aquanet, as long as your non stick at the intake ducts you should be fine but DAMN its gonna be awesome once it starts building up on the inside of your cylinders and head, your compression is just gonna keep going up and so will the POWER.Can you imagine 22-1 compression, make sure you run pump premium or you might detonate.I was even thinking of mounting 2 blow dryer's to the front firing into the ducts and running them off a car inverter under my seat, could you imagine the HOT ass air just being forced in to the engine, the air would be HOT HOT!!!!!!! so the engine wont have to work as hard to ignite the fuel!!!! That is a major eye burner i couldnt even read the whole thing, must have auto caps.
  2. Oh ya and mine is an 02 silverbird also so you guys with the inferior ones might not get the same response.
  3. How many teef in the front? :icon_shifty: :icon_shhh: Just do it like i did and swap the front and rear sprockets. 200MPH no problem. little slow to get going tho.another cheap speed trick i have done is to carry a spray bottle with you filled with HIGHLY combustible fluid and while your WFO at about 160MPH reach around the front with your left hand and spray it into the intake ducts, make sure you hold on tight with your right hand as it takes off pretty quick.
  4. This is the only place i know of but good luck trying to get them Carbon Blackbird body parts
  5. LINK FOR CHROME WHEELS
  6. LOL on your bike its called a float
  7. ya it may be. i remember reading a couple posts about some regulators doing the same (failing), i wonder if they were using additives and what kind.
  8. thats as loud as it lets me talk, turn up your contrast (the computers hearing aid)
  9. I just got off the phone with honda after being told by my local parts dealer that the fuel pressure regulators are on backorder from honda, honda has told me that there has been a increase in the sales of these regulators on the injected blackbirds.i have less than 6000 miles on my bike and told him that and he said there was some honda techs that were looking at some of the failed regulators and said they looked like the rubber diaphram had been eaten away, they say at this point it could be fuel additives (injector cleaners) reacting with the rubber. This part is covered under honda's 5 year emmisions warranty. The symptoms are fouled plugs in the 2 center cylinders as fuel is drawn through the regulator vacuum hose and into the 2 center throttle bodies.starts out as stumbling, rough idle, and leads to missfiring and loss of power eventually running on only 2 cylinders.
  10. i gotcha tomek, the traction is awesome when warm but ive only got about 200 miles on this set now and thats one thing i wanted to know was how long they last.if i can get 2000 miles out of a set then im happy just for the added traction.i can deffinitely say these make the bike alot more stable and alow you to push more in the turns.i do have an endless supply of these for dirt cheap thats why i wanted to give them a try.
  11. Now this i have never heard, the race take off's are only worn on the outer edges where a race bike is hardest on the tire which is why so many street guys love them because the center is basically new and thats where the street bikes wear. i was just asking anyone elses opinions on them because i have been running a set of 209 take off's and they are great once warmed up.on a 80 plus degree day with the asphault hot and tires warm i cannot get the rear tire to give at all.
  12. Just wondering if any of you use race takeoff tires? if you do or have used them did you like them?
  13. You can put me next in line for these if Rice doesnt get them. Yanivic i have an extra one of the small ones you need but it has scratches in it.
  14. :icon_doh: You don't fill your engine up with oil from the drain plug? :icon_think: I figure that since its already off I might as well fill it back up that way also But you gotta be quick, I watched Karate Kid 6 dozen times before I mastered it.. Sorry I misread your question.. Yes it should be blowing air out... Ok, thanks alot everyone i just wanted to make sure.
