  1. It is a PITA. I did mine at about 30k and have not checked them sice. Guess I am due to do that this winter while I have the body work off it for paint n repair. I now have 67k on the clock.
  2. There ya go. Now get that damn thing back to work.....
  3. On that short of a hose you won't notice the difference in flow unless you were to put it on a flow meter. Yes over a 10' or longer hose you would notice the reduction.
  4. 30k hell your just breaking in..... I am turning 67k on my 97 and still have the original hoses. Just inspect them and see if they feel soft at any point. I would make sure to either use OEM or a good quality hose. Some of that aftermarket stuff can be junk.
  5. I don't have a lot of experience with the FI bikes but lose of engine power only sounds like a fuel issue to me.
  6. Are ya sellin the flipflops too... I don't think that gear will fit you will it? Looks like you will swim in that stuff.
  7. Good read. Thanks for posting.... I have heard of guys with over the road trucks just doing filter changes when using full synthetic oil for over 50k miles. Synthetic oil doesn't break down like dino oil. So it makes sense financially.
  8. Mack I would think that they should have a shreader valve.....but I made that mistake once and it was ugly.... so error on the side of caution and make sure to get the info from a GM tech or shop manual......
  9. Your still a saint no worries.... With full synthetic you will be fine for at least 10k I usually change my oil once a yr with Mobile1 and it used to be about 8k but the last couple yrs have only been about 5k I have not gotten to ride nearly as much as I want too.
  10. I thought you were keepin the bike? Or did ya just get new gear?
  11. I have a couple sets of coils left, complete with wires and spark plug caps. Both from carbed bikes and while not sure, I believe them to be the same as the ones used on FI bikes. Lemme know... Hank Turns out my injectors and FPR are fine. While the bike tried to stay running last night, I noticed two plug wires arcing to the frame. Taped them up and the Bike ran like a ...HONDA need to replace the two wires. Let me know if Hank doesn't have them I think I have a set floating around.
  12. Glad you got it all fixed up.
  13. Will it power your built in vibrating dildo? happy riding....
  14. So you guys really did have a gay fuck fest helping Mike work his tool for the first time..... :icon_rape: :icon_suck: So Mike your no longer the 40 yro virgin? How does it feel?
  15. Check for a vacuum leak. I had a vacuum hose on the right side of the carbs dry rot and fall off while in WV in 08. Repaired hose and it has been fine since. Fyi it was causing the symptoms you are speaking of. Before you tare everything apart try putting a full can of Seafoam in the tank and run that through and see if it helps. I do that from time to time to help keep things clean in there. It really seems to help.
  16. I have the R1 R/R and I run a Daytel voltage meter wired right to my aux fuse block that comes right off the battery. I tried tapping into the marker lights and found about a 1.5v drop in the actual power at the battery. So for an accurate reading check or hook your meter right off the battery. My voltage at idle is right around 13v and as soon as off idle it is 14.2 and doesn't budge till at idle again.
  17. Sorry Mikey Friday at 4:20pm I was sitting it the auditorium at Rachel's school watching her and Steven and all the rest of the 2013 promenade. Yes my little girl went to her first prom. This was in our back yard beforehand. My baby girl is growing up.... I have not been on here much all weekend. I was busy. I still love you though Mikey!!!!!!
  18. R/R is going and yes you are pregnant!!!! Should have swallowed.... :icon_nana:
  19. I think I have triple clamps and steering stem from a 97 if that will work. I have to look when I get home though. Let me know.
  20. Do you know anyone locally that can weld aluminum? Have it welded and it will be good as new.
  21. As Mikey said leave them in soak and use compressed air to blow any crap out of the orifice.
  22. Keep at it Rick. The easter candy is what is killing me. I have not really gained but just feel sluggish . Chocolate is my weakness. I have stayed between 188-190 all through the winter so that is a plus for me. You looked good in March so whatever you are doing keep at it. How you even have the energy to think about exercise after work and chasing all the kids around is beyond me. Keep up the good work and never give up.
  23. I looked at mine but it is all taped and factory shrink wrapped. However I looked at the wiring schematic and the red /white wire comes frome the RR and the red wire just feeds power to the ignition switch and fuse box. They are a common wire in that relay. So I don't think it is a big deal if they are switched. Basically the red wire is just piggy backed to pull power for the fusebox and ignition. The R/W wire runs through and hooks to a 30 amp fuse before going to the battery.
