    38 mpg???

Sorry guys. My math was incorrect. I filled up after going 158 miles. I put in 3.4 gallons of fuel. That's only 46.4705 mpg. Tire's propertly inflated. Fresh oil. No stops. Slowest speeds were 65-75 when going through known po-po radar areas. Rich
  2. Probably and HID problem  Rich

    38 mpg???

I got right at about 49-50 mpg on my ride to Daytona and back. Average speed was about 95-105 mph most of the way. The return trip was from about 12am-3am. Little to no traffic. Rich
  4. That's what my wife does. She's 5' and about 110 lbs. My "friend" before my wife was 6' and 135 lbs and that also workd for her. Both would either push against the tank under breaking. Rich
  5. John, Do you have a connection at a powder coating place? I've got a set of wheels comming that I would like powdercoated or painted. Any idea which would give maximum results for the money? Rich
  6. I have that little dark line betweend the low and high beam pattern also. Rich
  7. Don't forget, that's 110 degrees for each ballast. So if you have 2 ballasts, you will have _______ degrees ? Rich
  8. $74... rear break switch sticking...not something I would have figured out.
  9. Problem fixed. The break light was "stuck" on and not going off. Strange.... Rich
  10. Glad to hear ou got your "issues" worked out You can always do the digital dash conversion to give ya more room  Rich
  11. No temp issues for me on my '97. I have both units mounted to the back of the dash panel. Time will tell I guess. There are pics of the install available somewhere...Rick...paging Rick.... :stickpoke: Rich
  12. Both bulbs are new. Installed on the 8th at Rick's. We couldn't find any loose wires. Fuse is good as the tail lights and blinkers all work. Is there a common ground wire for both switches that may have come loose? I hope it's not a HID gremlin. :? Rich
  13. Neither front or rear switch activates the break light. What's a DVM ? Digital volt meter? Rich
  14. I like Cooter Ebay had a very good selection of low voltage type lighting in the application you are looking at. I am considering the same thing when I have my new circular drive poured. Rich
  15. Is that door knob in the middle of the door? Cool idea on hidding the kegerator. Me likey. Rich
  16. Anyone ever had their break switch go bad? Both levers activited and the break lights don't come on. No loose wires. Pulled the nose and tail off with Rick's help. Couldn't find anything. Dropped it off at the dealer today for a lookie. Hope they don't rape me too bad. Rich
  17. John, Did you get your HID's in yet? Details man !! Rich
  18. Gotta be a reason for the big price difference between the two HID kits. ???? Rich
  19. How did your installation go? Did the bulbs fit perfectly or did you have to work something out like some others had to? I got both sets and hoping to install this Saturday with some help from Speed99 Rich
  20. What kind of pricing is expected? I would be interested in a drop it off and call me when it's finished type deal. Would it work on a carbed bird? Rich
  21. Not even a concern. If you're going for lower gearing, then replacing the front sprocket with a 16T is the way to go. +1
